Morrigan's appearance is iconic, it represents Thedas as a whole. The latter part of that sentence being the gist of what has been said by developers in the past.
Morrigan represents the DAO franchise. I would be severely disappointed if they did her(and the franchise) a disservice by having her look different to how she was in DAO. Since I doubt they'll go back to DAO's art style, it may be better if she just remained in Dragon Age Origins.
If not, and she is brought back in any way that is of lesser quality than her original appearance, I feel the franchise and the character will have taken another strike to the armor, one it cannot afford.
The appearances of many DAO characters were ruined in DA2(Flemeth being the exception, rather than the rule). Morrigan is important, so very very important, directly and indirectly.
I hope they don't do to her what they did to the rest.

That said, I fear that bringing Morrigan along could only serve to make some kind of "fan service" like Isabela (don't take me wrong, I like Isabela, but I think it's way to exxagerated in many ways). I don't want to know how the "new direction" could kill my favourite character from Origins.
And even worse... what if those weird rumours about being a dragon in gameplay mean that we are going to control her in a dragon form learned from Flemeth? I sincerely don't want to play some kind of mini-game with a dragon doing "cool" things in the air (but, maybe this statement is a bit too far in my imagination xD)
Anyway, if they bring back her, I hope they do a better job than Dragon Age II's Flemeth.

Give me new characters as brilliant as Morri was (and with a sexy voice like hers...
This "X was liked, let's bring him/her/it back in the sequels" mentality is understandable, but doesn't always work. Too much of a cool thing can be uncool. Especially in sagas whose episodes are as loosely connected as Dragon Age's, with different protagonists, locations, etc. This is not Mass Effect, which keeps using the same recurring characters and where, for example, the lack of Garrus in the third game would be awful.
Morri had her arc and some sort of closure (she left with the Warden or alone or died; she had the God Child or not). This said, a meaningful appearance in ME3 with no canon forced on the player wouldn't certainly displease me.

All foreshadowing points to yes. I'm actually looking forward to how she will look. It's been ten years. She's bound to change her style and look somewhat.
Varric didn't change one bit over ten years.
But anyway. We'll probably see Morrigan again.

Flemeth is a different story; she definitely represents the franchise.

which is pretty weird considering the devs keep saying over and over, the dragon age universe isn't about ONE character, it's about a certain span of time in a fictional world. That means while there may be some "cool" people popping up randomly (like warden, hawke, or any of the NPC companions) the world does not revolve around them.
so in short, i disagree.

I am a huge Morrigan fan, but I think if they bring her back and leave out her Warden, there are going to be some really pissed off people, especially if she appears and dismisses the Warden's absence as unavailable or worse, he died or something along those lines.
Then, there's the way Bioware/EA unsuccessfully brought back other characters in cheap cameos.
To put it another way, if Morrigan's reappearance is not handled beyond incredibly well, I think bringing back Morrigan is playing with fire.

For many, the Warden and Morrigan are inexplicably linked, especially for those who fathered the baby, hunted Morrigan down in Witch Hunt, and vanished with Morrigan through the mirror.

Actually I'd be glad if they made her look more like the original concept piece.. regardless. If she came back she would look different time has passed, not just art style changes but technology changes and all the other goodies of time going by, there's bound to be an obvious change.

Tbh. I realy dont care i like flemeth. Realy want to see her back also want to fight her again in Dao see was verry hard to kill and it was a fun fight.
But i am quite sure we going find her child some where in future i only dont think we going meet him in dragon age 3, if we do we see morrigan again. i stil think dragon age 3 will start somewhere at the end dragon age 2. Probaly right before the end dragon age 2. Make the most sense to me Prity sure your new hero stands between the chantry and the mage's.
Meaning that her child is around 8/9 years old. So i think morrigan is still hidding , and smart enough not bee found.

Warden's story is over, from what I am told anyways. Maybe Hawke finds her on a side quest in the Wilds or Mountains.

This, that right there, would be akin to smoking while swimming in gasoline.
Honestly, at this point, I think it would be better for Bioware/EA to reboot the Dragon Age franchise, meaning new story, new location, and entirely new characters.
NO CAMEOS, REFERENCES, NOTHING.

I would be pissed if BW made Warden x Morrigan canon, and I have a MALE Warden. How pissed would all the players with FEMALE Wardens out there be?!
