Canonically, no. Keeping my squad alive is part of my job, whether I like them or not. And, you never know when someone who you previously used to dislike turns out to change your mind later - happens irl very often.

I do have various careers where I did script some death though.

The first part of this sums it excactly... I took the whole.. " It's a suicide mission"   as  Orly " Challenge accepted"

Ashley and Kaidan in the first game, of course.

And in ME2, on my first Suicide Mission I lost Tali and Miranda, because Miranda was unloyal.

However, other than that I've kept everyone alive.

Part of me wants to kill Tali. However my Sheps are generally competent so without breaking the immersion of my roleplaying and deliberately making a idiotic or malicious mistake i haven't so far.

I want to know, is there a way to kill miranda and have shep live? cause as far as i know, you can only kill her when leaveing the collector base [ the fall form the platform] , and one squid member isn't enough to save shep... [ from what i read on Mass Effect wiki]
because i reeeeeeaaaaallllllllly don't like her.

You need to have at least 2 squad member alive from all the hencmen. You can even kill 2 characters in the final boss and Shepard still survives.

Maybe you confused that with one squadmate in total not being enough to save Shep (as in, killing off all the squadmates except for one). If one squadmate dies in the final battle, the other one you brought can save you.

To the current day, I only lost one member of my squad: Kaidan. And only because I wasn't able to save him AND Ashley on Virmire. Besides that, I tried everything to get my crew through hell. My Shepard cares for every member of his crew - even those he's indifferent.

Oxymoron.

At first yeah, but since I am not planning on playing the third game, it doesn't really matter.

I had Tali, Garrus and Jack killed off, can't stand them. Well Garrus just got boring and he said something, that lead to his death, muhaa.

Something must've happened with Miranda for you to change your mind. I recall you being pretty excited for ME3 before the leak.

I'm tempted to kill off a few characters simply because I'm unhappy with how they're presented in ME3 but that'd require me to break character, plus I'm too lazy.

Thank god I killed Ash though.

It was a tough choice, but I  was glad to kill off Kaidan in ME1.I  wished I could have killed of Ash in ME2 when she turned her back on me. ME3 brings a new chance to even the score with that traitor though.

Thank God Liara saved me or mankind would have meet the end due to the narrow minded idiots like Ash.

Did you know that Ashley isn't obligated to kiss Shepard's backside?

Has nothing to do with "kissing backside"

Shepard had proved himself numerous times, yet she doubted his motives in a matter of seconds and turned her back on  him. I don't see how anyone can argue with the facts.

Because the rumors of him working for a terrorist organization turned out to be true. Her doubts were not unfounded.

Well she ain't full squaddie, I'd have to play large portion of the game with squaddies that I am not interested in. And the multiplayer isn't what I wanted nor do I want it in the future, so I am voting with my wallet.

Are you overlooking something? Are you forgetting that Ash is with SA (System Allience) and she can't just go riding off into the sunset with you. She would be charged with desertion, would be imprissioned and possibly excuted due to working with a known terrorist organization that is an enemy of SA. She is in the Military!!! You didn't get charged with treason only because of Anderson and you saved the council. Why in the hell would Ashley throw away all that she has worked for, which she had to work harder due to her family history.

Yea both Kaidan/Ashley are traitors because they didn't want to loose something they worked so hard to earn. Yea they are traitors because they didn't want to be imprissioned. I'm glad they stood up to my Shepard. She hurt your feelings...sticks and stones!! They both apologized for calling you a traitor but hey I guess that doesn't count right?

Can definitely emphathise with your point of view.I'm still hoping the game will be alot better than it seems or at the very least i'll be able to get some element of closure to trilogy and that will make giving them my money worth it. I'll likely regret that later though.

That's because Ash and the Alliance turned their back on Shepard. Shepard was brought back by Liara and Cerberus to take down the threat and he did it. Shepard told her he didn't trust them, but needed what they had to stop the reapers.

I understand Ash having trust issues with Cerberus, but she had no reason not to trust Shepard after all they had been through. She could have at least heard him out and maybe came along (like he offered) to make sure everything was on the up and cover Sheps back in the name of the Alliance.

She is no freind in my book, but to each his own.

This thread ask a question who would you kill off and I answered the question. The thread isn't about you getting your panties in a wad over the facts of my answer.

Enjoy your drinks ladies.

Well Miri on ME2 trailer was something that caught my attention along with Two Steps from Hell playing on the background. That's why I bought ME1 in the first place and ME2. I don't care about what happens to the Reapers or (tbh) Shepard, just what happens to Miri. Kaidan is somewhat interesting character and I enjoyed the bromance between him and Shep, but it's not enough for me to pay for the game.

While Miri might play big role in the game, it's most likely important but brief role, after which I am forced to wrap up the game with the other less interesting characters.

I can get the closure from YouTube, if need be. Battle for Citadel still gives me same thrills, even if it's watched on YouTube.

Not me, but my Dad got so sick of Tali fanboys (not the nice, sensible ones, the jerks who get really nasty--like, if you say, "I think Tali shouldn't look like the prettiest human ever with maybe a few purple dots on her temples, but more like an attractive *alien* with some oddness to her" and they say, "You are DISGUSTING. Everything about you is filthy and you should die." No, that's not exaggeration, it has happened) that he made sure she wouldn't show up in ME3. I kinda hope he changes his mind, because he liked Tali previously just as I did, but he can be stubborn when people ****** him off and if he can't hang with her in the game without thinking of her more rabid/creepy fans, then I can't exactly blame him.

Me, I'm considering altering my "dead Shep" playthrough into a "one or two people survive" playthrough, or making a really harsh Renegade with unrealistic expectations who would get most killed but not all. Just not sure which to save, and whether it's worth it. If the only real consequence is a few altered lines and a smaller range of squadmates to choose from, then it seems silly.
