We currently have 4 people playing in this house, 2 copies were purchased at Target and two were purchased at Gamestop(all neverwinter complete).

First issue, I am getting a message unauthorized cd key when I try to log on to mulitplayer.  CD key is valid.

2nd issue, the other 3 copies all work fine, except one of the computers wont let me log on to mulitplayer(ever server no matter what, including direct connect) times out when using the router, it lets me log in fine when I go straight from modem, the other two let me log in fine from modem or router.  Strange or might make sense to some one,  When going thru router, I log on to mulitplayer, servers come up. but these same servers do not show up in history or in favorites(both tabs show the numbers(like server is down(but it is not, it comes up in the interet tab.) , where as if l log in with out router, you can see ther servers I have been to in the history tab, as well as favorites.  It maybe a port issue? but then why do the other 3 computers work on same router.

Try portforward.com - select the router you're using and then NWN2 from the list of games.

Given you have 4 computers trying to connect, there's probably something else you need to do (make sure they're not all trying to use the same port or something like that).

Generally if you are hosting, and all the computers work except one, or none of them work except one, it generally means that you have to have the ones for which are having problems to connect via the Lan ( local ) browser and not the Internet browser. It always shows up the second, but it's using an external address and you need to use an internal address if it actually never leaves your network. If you host the game yourself you will see the game has a different adress in each of these places, the 192.* type address is internal, and the other one is the one aimed at your router which has to forward it to the server via port forwarding rules.

The gamespy authentication server is down, long story but it's posted in other threads ( hackers attacked it and it was never put back up ). You don't need to use it, and a simple hosts entry can really help it.

Other main issue people have is that Steam or other services don't install the actual key, and if you want to play MP you have to enter it yourself into cdkey.ini. ( and the nwn2 combined version with the OC and MOTB had the cdkeys reversed but it's unlikely that is an issue for you )
