This. Next time he does it Shep's gonna shoot him in the face if it's an option. Damn Udina.

I believe that if Udina stabs shepard in the back in ME3. It will be more like Udina shooting him self in the back.

I stated this before but I'll reiterate. If there is an option to put a bullet through Udina's head I will be taking it.I don't like him. Please, BioWare. I have wanted to kill Udina since he stabbed me in the back right to my face in Mass Effect 1.

Why people would actually intentionally read the leaked script and spoil the story for themselves is beyond me.

^ This. I for one didn't read it (don't want to) but I am merely saying if given the opportunity to kill Udina I will gladly do it.

For my main character(Sentinel Paragade) I chose Udina for the council in ME1; because he just seemed like the most logical solution. But when I got to the council in ME2 Udina was still a douche, while Anderson still had my back, and it made me wonder. Did I make the right decision? I mean I don't really regret putting Udina on the council because he's apparently doing good work, but..

In ME3 what if I need to try, and convince the Council of something important, and Udina gangs up with them against me? I'm wondering if this choice is something I'm going to have to pay for.

I was wondering what you guys thought about this.

Well, like Shepard said, "What do you expect? He's a politician." :P

He may be a doushe, but I doubt he'd betray anyone; unless he was indoctrinated somehow.

In ME3, I was hoping he would pull a J.Jameson from Spider-man and show a caring/good side but, sadly, from the script they made him 100% selfish and nothing more.

Udina has Udina's back. He'll do whatever to make sure HE survives, and it'll work for a while, but karma's a b*tch.

Udina will be the the Councils puppet (if the alien council is still alive in your playthough) and will do everything in his power to try to make your life a living hell. On the other hand I believe Captain Anderson is going to step in and we will see just how much ass he is capable of kicking.

Andersson can't be on the council either way in ME3 since he retired in one of the books.

***SPOILER***

Udina is indoctrinated, so no.

I remember reading that part as well in the leaks, and I don't trust him and I never will anderson is still leagues better than him., so I do not regret at all of choosing anderson 10 times in all of my play thrus. He will also betray shepard no matter what.

Careful with the spoilers folks, we're not supposed to post them at all.

That said, I never trusted him from ME1, typical politician.

I'll hope to be proven wrong. How about that?

If that guy sees a minimal benefit, he would kill his mother in order to have it.

Udina + your back = Knife in back

Never trusted him from the start. I put Anderson on the council every play-through I did just to keep Udina off of it.

Seems likely that Udina would not have your back.
Bioware's got this longstanding tradition of depicting all politicians, regardless of ther individual bent, as backstabbing wankers sworn to hinder the player character in any way possible. Udian's not going to go out any different.

I guess it's betraying somebody to think they're insane (just like everybody else) when they claim giant machine gods from outer space will kill everybody.

It is when the person claiming it is the player character.

You know, one of these days they should make a game where the player character really is insane, and in your valient efforts to save the world you just get a lot of people killed. Total anti-climax at the ending when it's revealed you were wrong all the while.
