Why does none of my character info get updated into my profile?  The last time was 13 days ago and a LOT has changed since then.  I have everything set in game for it to upload but it does not actually do it.  I have even turned off my firewall to see if that was the issue and it didn't help.  Any ideas?

There are numerous threads about this problem, according to the sites FAQ (http://social.bioware.com/help.php) (the link is way down at the bottom of each page, so it's not exactly easy to find):

Why isn't my DA Character showing up online?
There are several reasons that your DA character data may not be showing up online yet. These include:

    * Your data was already synced within about the past hour - the system avoids re-syncing people too frequently - be patient!
    * You do not have an account on this website - the system only syncs data for people with accounts
    * No one has visited your DA player profile page - the system decides who to sync based on whether their profile has been visited in the past day.
    * The system has many other people to sync first - syncing is done on a first-come first-serve basis, so a big rush will delay some syncs
    * You logged in to Dragon Age with a different account - you must use the same account in-game as you use on this site
    * In the Character Creator, you did not hit the "Upload Character" button, or that upload failed
    * In Dragon Age Origins (not Char Creator), you did not save your game - DA game progress is uploaded when the game is saved

Why aren't some of my character stats updating on the website?
There is a problem with certain builds of Dragon Age: Origins where certain character data (heroic stats, base stats, heroic party stats) are not re-uploaded until you change equipment or level-up. To make sure these stats get updated on the website, change your character's equipped items and save your game - this should re-upload the updated data.

The site is also in beta testing.. Managing characters is broken, you can't delete them

Also ALL of my characters stopped updating regardless if my page is viewed or not, saving, changing equipement or leveling up doesn't work.

The ONLY thing that updates are my achievements... nothing else.

Like I said the site is in beta testing and I think for many people, it's just BROKEN. I talked to tech support and many people have corrupted online profiles that can't be updated until someoen goes in and manually fixes them

Corrupted online profiles? That doesn't sound good at all.



My characters were updating just fine until about a week ago. Now they're frozen in time.



Achievements are working just fine, as the previous poster stated.

At least I was able to delete the re-appearing character after they re-enabled the Manage Character's link (yesterday?). Still (although they have already made a post about there being a fix in the works) having 68 screenshots uploaded according to the game that I am unable to delete atm. though (but as I wrote just earlier, they have said they know about this issue and are working on it). My character does not update though, stuck at Lv.13 and are now Lv.20, have changed equipment more than once, since then. But on the bright side, achievements does update very quickly.

I did read something about deleting your character from the Player Profile that was having issues, but I don't want to end up with no characters showing.. Lv.13 is at least better than no character, hehe.

Mine had not updated for a week or two, but i visited my page a couple of times, logged out and back in. And now suddenly it updated. So it seems that if you do some playing around with loggin out/in and refreshing your page it will eventually update.

Ah, sorry, mine only partially updated. It added a character that had not previously shown up at all, but my other characters are still too low level.

Have any of you enabled the command console in your game? That apparently stops updates being sent, as I discovered a couple of weeks ago.

same problem here, i get achievements but no updates on new characters or leveling up previous ones.

I also am having this problem. Except my problem is that only my first character has been uploaded and uploads achievements. My warrior has uploaded nothing and i am pretty far in the game. The weird thing is it says things are being uploaded.. help?

Any update on this? I deleted my chars on the online profile, and now they are not reappearing. Only achievements get updated.

I had two copies of my first character to upload, neither current. I deleted the MORE outdated one. But no new characters are uploading and she's not updating.

My profile quit updating since I bought the Ultimate edition (I originally only had the Origins CE)

Have you checked the profile diagnostics for errors and the number of uploaded files?

I for myself also thought that it had stopped updating my profile. I was already at level 21 and yet my profile still displayed it as level 3. However, it got immediately updated once I clicked at my character to view the details.

How does the update even work?
I mean I had the problem, that character specifics weren't updated, but I never really thought about it.
5 hours ago my Achievments were updated, but I haven't even started DA:O or A in the last three days. Add to that, that my PC broke down 12 hours ago and cannot start Windows, I really wonder how it works.

i finished witchunt long ago and till date, it is still not updated.. does that means the saved game is wrong...

@ Dantares83: Have you checked your Profile Diagnostics for the number of uploaded files? If you exceed the 50 files limit the profile stops updating until you make more room.
