I've been working on a short movie with the toolset and I can't figure out why the lip sync and expressions are not showing up in the cutscene but the lip sync works fine when I go to "edit face fx".  I've got audio but no movement.   Has this happened to anyone?  Any ideas?  I have just one creature human in the scene.

I just noticed that this forum hasn't been touched in 7 months.  I hope someone is still out there!

Don´t worry - there are still enough people active in their projects, dropping in infrequently.

I haven´t heared about a similiar problem related to the default DA creatures. Did it work before correctly or is it the first time you have tried to generate lip sync and facefx in the conversation editor?

When you select the 'Generate facefx' coomand via the Tools menu - any warnings or errors showing up in your log window instead 'FaceFX data generated successfully: xxxxxx_m.fxe'?
Compare the logged output folders for fxm files (containing the audio information) and fxe file (containing the animation curves)...
Any unusal entries in the facefx log file which could be found in the DA installation folder under tools\\FaceFx\\log ? (Beside the default warning related to Slade.fxr which doesn´t exist in our plug-in)

Have you previewed the line in the conversation editor or exclusively in the cs editor? Where did you open the facefx editor? Via the cs editor or the conversation editor?

It would be helpful if you could provide more information to help you figuring it out.

Hey, thanks for the reply. I figured it out, and it was the stupidest thing- I had to put the "player" in the cutscene. It didn't matter if I had the actor speaking to the camera or to itself. It was really frustrating because everything seemed to be correct so I spent a bunch of time dumping the files in every folder possible. =)
