I was just wondering if you can romance any characters even if you pick solely renegade responses? For example if you are angry at Ashley for activating the Beacon in the beginning of Mass Effect she gets upset about it but can you go on to romance her?

Also are there any characters who mesh well with a pure renegade character for a romance?

My full renegade Shep (100% on the meter) romanced Jack and she seemed to love it.

You couldn't romance Samara (close), but she will cut you off cold for going renegade.

But to answer your question I don't believe any LI can be concluded on renegade options alone. Lore-wise Jack seems like a good Renegade LI. Miranda also arguably responds more favorably to some renegade options.

The answer is pretty much 'yes, Renegades can have romances.'

Romance flag choices to continue/stop a romance have been on the bottom-right, but have NOT been Renegade point givers. Ending a romance is no more Renegade than accepting a side quest is Paragon.

Almost every character is romance-able renegade. Even being barely kind with someone is enough to get into a romance.
Completely Renegade is not possible.

In ME2 if you go through regenade options with Jacob he can be put off. Not sure about Miranda.

 I actually did an anti-paragon career for testing purposes and the answer is no, a renegade line will always end it somewhere before it can begin.

Unless you count Jack's one-night-stand.

*edit* at least not in ME2, but I'm sure that ME1 Liara's ninjamance would pass the test.

You can romance anyone as long as you have the proper genitalia.

So...yeah, be a douche to them...it won't matter unless you pick the option that kills the romance.

Or an option that loses their loyalty.

Anyway, no romances yield either paragon or renegade points, IIRC, so there's no such thing as a "renegade romance".

Well, there is that renegade option to hate-kiss Miranda Han Solo style . . .
