The console command "freecam" frees the camera for movement simialr to that of the toolset. This lets you take amazing in-game screenshots to feature your areas and to make loadscreens and such. What Fun!

How did you even find this out? Do you go around plugging random words into the console?

press the ` key.
then type debugmode 1
then type freecam
you can also type commands for a list of console commands.
You can also search for commands by typing commands followed by the word you want to search for.

another useful command is c3. Sometimes if you have collision boxes and you aren't sure where they are appearing in game, you can use the c3 command to see where they are.

Nice tip !
I can see some nice group photos coming up and my characters becoming more like tourists posing on mountains etc ( wonder if you can combine it with emote ). Only thing was I couldn't turn it off but I worked out to type freecam off in the end.
If you could combine this with an animal companion you could have a lovely little spy working for you and make the little furball much more interesting as you send it off to see what's around the corner.

I've tested it, looks cool for taking screenshots. Turning is a bit slow, though, any way to make it faster?
IIRC, there was a spell in BG2 that let you do that (Mage's Eye?). I wonder if it could be done here. It'd be a nice addition for The Wizard's Apprentice III.Iveforgotmypassword wrote...
