I preordered from GAME,

I'd be massively surprised if it didn't come with the Argus, seeing as that's generic preorder.

That said, as a newcomer to Oz (3 months in Brisbane yo) I've got to laugh at the state of game costs here.

Even digital downloads cost tonnes more than from the UK. FTW is up with that? those internet packets heavy?

It does suck however that EA changed retailers with the bonus. I got ME2 from EB games, which came with the Terminus Armor/Blackstorm, so that's where I preordered, but now it's GAME that gets the equivalent!

Pretty much the same price but Mighty Ape gets the N7 wargear set

Same for anyone else ordering in NZ

Edit: And it seems the wargear pack also includes the argus rifle

Actually the N7 Warfare Pack is exclusive to Gamestop (but I've read somewhere that GAME has it too, don't take my word for it).

The Argus Rifle is a general pre-order incentive.

At least that's how it works in Europe.

It doesnt work like that mate, the N7 Warfare Pack is only Exclusive to Gamestop in the USA. Other countries have different exclusive pre-orders, the N7 Warfare Pack is exclusive to GAME here. The Argus Rifle SEEMS to be an exclusive to EB Games with their Omni-Blade Edition.(No idea whether the Collectors Edition at EB Games even gets the Argus)

I would normally say yes, but for some reason EB NZ and Oz about a third of the time do not get the Gamestop dlc (its been the Walmart a few times and the Amazon a couple of times), my local store manager says it is what their Head Office has been given by their suppliers

No more preorder/DLC weps for me. Bioware makes their specials too op. Specials make combat 'fish in a barrel' easy to the point of being dull.

I find they add to the life of the game during run 2 3 n 4 or 5

And the Argus is avalible with the Origin Preorder, so it's most definitely NOT exclusive to the US/Europe/Russia/everyone who isn't Australian

I was under the impression that the Valkyrie N7 armor was Origin exclusive, not GAME exclusive.

This always depends on the location of the EB games as I've heard it. EB games in the capital are more likely to receive the same extras as US GameStop, depending on how popular the game is.

I dunno what's happening in Aus, I'll find out hopefully tomorrow when I have time to call them. I'm more likely to rage if I miss on DLC character / content then a rifle and / or an armor (that's why easy exist, imo anyway)

I just buy from my local store. This "exclusive content" for specific suppliers offends me because in practice it's offering an incentive to boycott the local businesses that have spent years establishing a relationship with me.

When I ordered the CE it was because when I looked over the contents I decided it was worth the extra money and I knew I wouldn't be able to get it if I didn't ask them to order it in for me. It was basic mathematics.

That really sucks, think ill call them tomorrow anyway because ive just noticed they charged me $128.00 for the pc N7 Collector's Edition, however it says $108.00 on their webpage.

Gamestop is EB.

If you have pre-ordered from EB you should still be getting the N7 Warfare pack - at least they told me I was getting it.

They also told me I was getting a Deus Ex Beanie though... : (

It's good to know I wasn't the only one who missed out on the beanie. This is the first time I am purchasing a game from EB's in a long time as I usually just get all my games now from OzGameShop.com, but I couldn't wait for ME3. =P

As I live in Alice Springs - all online internet orders are a risk.

Our Post Office recieved a package once - denied they recieved it - three weeks later "Oh, it just came in."

Yeah I checked - but on the ME website it says GameStop and EB.
