I'm going to double check with EB games again today - see if I can get some more confirmation.

Seems weird that Australian EB would miss out on GameStop/EB games exclusive while their competitor has it....

Well, I pre-ordered the CE with EB Games but I emailed them earlier today to find out what the go is with their pre-order offers. According to their reply, only the omni blade edition comes with a preorder bonus which is just the M55 Argus rifle. No idea why offers are only limited to this copy.
If Game still have copies, that is definitely the better option, especially if you're getting the CE. Exactly the same price but Game are offering the N7 Warfare gear.

I got my beanie.....didn't work however. Also those saying that the site says "Exclusive to Gametop and EBGames", Gamestop is EBGames in Canada therefore its true for them, but I did talk to a manager at a store closer to the city and he seemed to be rather confused about what I said to him, he thought that EBGames were getting the pre-order bonuses. But then again I didn't see him check anything so I wouldn't be too sure. It would be cool if someone from Bioware did give a lowdown on everything.

Yeah its all over the place. I was told I WOULD be getting it shorlty after I checked with EB after announcement of N7 warfare pack (the game was all paid for at this stage too)

But today they confirmed that they weren't going to have it - but GAME has it exclusively.

Basically the situation is pretty crap. In the end its only some extra pieces, but it shouldn't have happened.

Going downtown to EB and GAME respectively today, like many others here, I 'seemingly' made the mistake of pre-ordering at EB while the apparantly smarter choice [if you want more 'bang for your buck'] was to go for GAME instead. It's just tragic that these pre-order exclusives took so long to surface otherwise I'd have gone to GAME first. :S

Who knows, maybe I can 'haggle' at EB along the lines of "Okay.. well.. as it turns out, GAME has 'this' and 'this'.. but you.. have.. nothing extra. How will you convince me not to cancel my preorder with you and go directly to your competitor?"

Yes. In the big picture, EB probably won't miss their $100+ from a single missed sale [had to drop $10 to confirm my pre-order, bosh'tets], but on the other-hand.. if they care about customer satisfaction, I may get something out of it. Not likely but, won't know if don't try.

Still pretty adament that I'll be changing stores regardless. Dunno where this 'omni blade' edition came from, it seems to ONLY be in Australia as I'm not seeing it advertised 'anywhere else in the whole world'.

- No you won't be getting the M55 with the ME3 CE edition. Yes you will get it if you buy the omni blade edition (again nfi where that edition came from)

so yea like Daiyu says, if you want more "bang for your buck" then take your preorder to Game and cancel your EB pre order

Well that's incredibly disappointing.  I pre-ordered the CE back in July at EB in the anticipation that they would get the exclusive bonuses, since they usually do.  *sigh*

As much as I'm tempted to change stores though, I'm not cancelling my pre-order.  I really don't want to miss out on the CE.

EB Games has the M-55 Argus, but that's rubbish that you only get it with the Omni-blade edition. I'd PM Christ Priestly about that if I were you. I don't have it pre-ordered so it's no skin off my nose, but still.

Yeah now the wiki might be helpful- but the early information some of us were given was wrong. I am pretty sure I checked it and it didn't claim anything about GAME and N7 Warfare pack back then. In fact, I don't think GAME was even on that list.

Information provided by Bioware's very own website and FAQ state that the pre-order bonus is universal, yet Australian consumers aren't being afforded the same deal. I haven't been too fussed over the ludicrous number of DLC deals attached to merchandise, but I think there should be some answers here.

Yeah Mighty Ape is about $20-30 cheaper for the CE than EB and Game anyway, I'd strongly recommend them based on that, though I've never purchased from them.

Since I have already pre-ordered and have it payed off fully at EB games I dont see my self changing over to Game. Im not concerned over missing out on a piece of armour or a gun because Game paid for the right to have these items exclusively. The M55 assault rifle not being included with the pre-order however is a totally different issue. Bioware have it included for all pre-orders, Game didnt pay for this item to be their exclusive.It looks to me like EB having lost the bid for the pre-order exclusives for the collectors edition are banking on making up for this by adding the M55 assault rifle that were allocated to them from the collector edition pre-orders and using them in that ridiculous omni blade edition. It may get them more people who didnt pre-order to buy ME3 at EB than Game because all of Game's after release sales will have no bonus.

It's rediculous, though, because it (Argus) has been stated as a universal pre-order bonus. It shouldn't matter which retailer you pre-order from and it should roll over for CE pre-orders.

Ok I have just read EB and Game's websites. My new theory is that EA Australia have cut a deal between the two retailers and given all pre-order bonus rights to Game and all after release bonus rights to EB. The site specifically states the N7 Warfare gear is only for pre-orders and no after release bonuses are mentioned. The EB omniblade edition however will be available after release (it still can be pre-ordered but the omniblade edition isn't a pre-order bonus).

Game pre-orders dont come with the M55 rifle that Bioware listed as a channel wide offer for all pre-orders no matter where you order it from. EA Australia may have allocated the M55 rifle to EB to be used as a EB after release exclusive to either keep them happy or to generate more money by selling two exclusive bonus offers. Either way we Aussies miss out.

The information displayed on the Gamestop website applies to American audiences, not Australian audiences. 

The M55 Rifle is only available in the Omni Blade Edition from EB Games Australia as seen here: http://www.ebgames.c...-PlayStation-3 

The N7 Edition which you have pre-ordered does come with an N7 arsenal pack, which is not identical to the N7 Warfare pack available to American Audiences.
