Guess the Villain? Now? That's like trying to guess who the MC or the party companions are at this point.

lol, well we know it's a mage vs templar war so not much to say on this matter at the moment. We alrady have Andraste runing around doing whatever she's up to other than giving mages controll over thier lives again.

The Space Hamster maybe? It already showed up in two games, both of them had some sinister happening. Can't be a coincidence.
Or maybe it's Detritus. If it's really hot there.

Logarishoredithmiel, the shackled remains of previous Dragon Age antagonists bound together by blood magic into one terrifying entity.

Nobody. The game plays with the factions of mages and templars, who you side with, and what leader you help pick lead that side changes the ending. You get a varation of 4 endings.
1. Mages together go to a series of close islands where separated from society, they start building up forces to become the next tevinter.
2. Mages are free and live everyday life like other civilians/peasents. Due to magic power though, this causes them to often get into more powerful positions. There's also templar postings spread out in case of abominations.
3. The mages are forced back into the towers, now with even less freedom of choice and stricter supervision.
4. The mage towers are reformed and each tower is looked after by a cooperation of mages and the templar order sometimes visiting to check on the status. The mage towers are ultimately led by the senior mages and have more rights from allowing mages with supervision to visit places, no more rite of tranquility except for criminals, etc.

In all seriousness, I rather expect the primary villain of DA3 to be the Lord Seeker from Asunder.

I do want Flemeth to play a larger role, though I'm not sure it will be as a villain. Thing is, I'm not sure what she actually WANTS. That aside, I suspect we may have to choose sides between two characters in Asunder (don't want to give spoilers), as they are both rather important to a rather large conflict. But I'd like a big, bad evil too a la Origins where Loghain was a quasi villain and the Archdemon the real villain. So maybe Flemeth's pet monstrosity or something lol....

The Reapers......
"I'm Commander Shepard, and they are my favorite villains in Bioware games."
And, in order to fight them, the Grey Wardens bring back the griffins so we can fly on their backs into glorious battle with giant robot spaceships from outside the galaxy.
Either that, or maybe the Old God Baby is revealed to actually be a son of Bhaal, God of Murder.....
Okay, I'll stop now....

The Warden. And Hawke, if we don't play as him again. We need to kill them off.

Why would it not be? Asunder certainly did a great job of setting him up as the principle enemy to mages' freedom.

If we don't know who the major antagonists of the world of Thedas are then Dragon Age has no direction...
