I hope the final boss is at least male this time.

Really?  Why is that?  I mean - Meredith was a fairly poor character in my opinion, but that had little to do with her gender.

Chiramu wrote...Flemeth should be a dang badass villain

She reminds me of Raistlin from the DragonLance series. Which doesn't quite qulify her as a true villian in my book.

If the game is goingto be revolving around the Templars v Mages I would place the main bad guy as the heads of each order. And Flemeth would make for a great Mage champion!

I would like it if not all mages when pushed, cave in to the temptaion of Blood Magic. Even Anders has become an abomination of sorts. It makes the mages look like weak willed chumps.

Ah, what is the trickster god's name of the Dalish....Fen'Harel? He should be a Loki like character, with a connection to Flemeth, who is basically trying to screw up Thedas....because that's what trickster Gods do. But you need a number of antagonists. Corphyeus, The Architect, The Lord Seeker, Morrigan...the Warden? The Black Divine. There's a lot to choose from.

Why not have the last two Arch Demons, and flemeth rides upon both them. Wiping out civilisations, and wreaking a path of destruction in their wake. Alternatively, a Darkspawn Abomination. Or may be the Maker's Shadow, which could be the source of Darkspawn Corruption.

You could have luminous, winged, angelic entities. That are both benevolent, and wrathful in the equal measures. They have lost their sanity due to the Tevinter Magister incursion into the white city. Now they're arbiters of death seeking to end humanity.

Whatever the boss is, it should be voiced by Samuel L Jackson.

An actual dragon that is somehow relevant to the title of the series lol.  Seriously though, maybe a bunch of angry Old Gods who wants to cleanse Thedas of humans, elves, dwarves, and darkspawn as a part of an endless cycle of extinction, lol too obvious?

Maybe the antagonist is your own companion who has to follow you and work together with you? It sounds stupid but its unique and if done right it could be cool...

Rpgs can do so much more now, they don't need to be bland and generic like certain oldschool Rpgs (not implying oldschool Rpgs are all generic and bland, Planescape: Torment is the least bland and generic Rpg I've ever played and its old school.)

And of course there would be another/other antagonists, like maybe one antagonist if your against the mages and another antagonist if you are against the Templars, or something?

Only if he starts ranting about these god damn snakes on a dragon and shouts at a man asking what his boss looks like, berating him for saying "What" and asking what country he's from.

Also, cursing. Lots of cursing. Because to include Samuel L. Jackson in anything and not have him swear like crazy is a crime against nature.

Given how DA2 worked out I reckon the DA3 main boss is going to be one of 3 people.

The Devine Justinia V, the current Archon of the Tevinter Empire (or perhaps the Black Devine), or Hawke/Anders.

Yeah ! It would be nice to have Hawke as the main villain. Haha !

Grand Cleric Elthina. Hopefully not alone though.

Hope Flemeth doesn't become a true villian.

Although I think theres more to the story behind 2's I hope it's not one of a simalar style, it just felt wrong and not satsifying end to the story.

You mean like KOTOR II?  Also, I think Shin Megami Tensei did something similar giving you both a law and chaos companion.  Side with chaos and you have to fight the law companion.  Side with the law and you have to fight the chaos companion.  Side with neither, and you have to fight them both.

I just read the thread topic and jumped to the last page, so I haven't read anything. But my theories on the villain of DA3 is less a villain, but a political situation. With the blight, you have an enemy everyone recognizes (save some idiots in Origins.)

This forum is vastly divided on the issue of mages and templars, which shows that Bioware did a darn good job portraying strengths and weaknesses of all sides. I see a game where the protagonists, whether Warden/Hawke, or some other dude(dudette) that gets dragged into a war for or against templars and mages, Chantry military might or peaceful pacifism.

I expect to see good templars who only want to keep people safe from blood magic and abominations, and I expect to see mages who have spent so long abused by corrupt templars that they refuse to budge an inch on the issue of returning to the Circle.

I expect to see Chantry priests trying their best to help the common man and woman, and I also expect to see priests preaching doom and destruction against the mages.

I expect to see more of the Qunari, and maybe even help them invade if we so wish it (playable as a Kossith or Tal-Vashoth.)

Heck, it may even be fun to have to play through the game's main war before we can unlock playing through the game under the perspective of the Qun.

I expect either a hardcore libertarian or the Knight-Vigilant to be the boss of the game, depending on which side we chose.

I just want to see Orzammar again. Side note, but their politics are fun. And deadly. Even your closes allies are the villains there.

yes
he could be a Seeker or a templar

-“Ho I am sorry did I break your concentration?”

-“Does the Justina looks like a biatch to you?”

-“Do they speak Orlesain in what?”
-“yes Orlesain, nugghumper, do you speak it?”

whose that ? Said the protagonist of DA3 open the coffer on the back of the dragoon.
-“Lord Beaumont, an employee i had to let go.”
What did he do
-“He put himself in position where he was going to do 10 years in the circle that’s what he did.”

-“The sword of Censure, when you want to waste every nugghumper mage  in the room, accept no substitute.”

The great dark one Sandel mentions. More over Sandel is really the Maker here to judge mortals in the guise of a loveable retard. He will also smite down people. A lot.
