If DA3 is going to be about the Mage/Templar conflict, then I very, very much suspect we're going to be siding with one or the other... meaning we'll be the main villain to one half of the conflict or the other.

But that the decisions lead to one/two/three antagonists....not standard villains. I want more Loghains, no more archdemons.

Everyone who thinks they're being tremendously witty by naming a developer as the villain of DA3 is being given some time for introspection. I hope you use it well.

Humanity will continue to be its own greatest enemy in DA3, garaunteed. Hubris, pride and lack of forgivness or temperence in views have been much more damaging than any ancient evil thus far.
Every story needs antagonists otherwise every story would be as boring as hell. There needs to be antagonists and road blocks that stop the protagonist from getting what they want otherwise it will be such a boring tale.
Humanity's hubris is everywhere, it's not an antagonist although it could lead to someone becoming an antagonist; by itself it's nothing to stop the protagonist.

Therefore Sebastian.
"He dies, or I am returning to Starkhaven. And I will bring such an army with me on my return that there'll be nothing left of Kirkwall for these maleficarum to rule!...I swear to you, I will come back and find your precious Anders, and I will teach him what true justice is."
So Seb finally stops waffling, goes back to Starkhaven, raises an army of extreme anti-mage folk, either against Hawke/Anders or with a pro!Templar!Hawke against the rebellious mages, and razes everything in his path to wipe "evil" from Thedas.
Either way I'd love to see him as a villain :3

Although the fact that he died in a lot of peoples games is a bit of an issue.

Though the idea of the player and their group being an agent of the Big Bad is intriguing, espeially if our dear Seeker, Cassandra, is on our side, which leads to the twist in the endgame, where we learn it's not the Black Divine of Tevinter and Tevinter only that we needed to worry about and never really did, but our supposedly pure and just and capable-of-doing-no-wrong White Divine.

Well, Silverman did manage to turn into a giant ghost dragon in Legacy.
