I pre-ordered the collector's edition off of Amazon in early October and I got an e-mail from them on Saturday saying they shipped my order. was pleasantly surprised by that. Estimated delivery because I live overseas at the moment is Nov 10th, but another game I preordered from them (tropico 3) only took 4 days (or 3 if you don't count Sunday) to get here. So I expect to have it to me by Wednesday.

Amazon has two factors on when they will ship, A) shipping speed, obvious I know, but if you go with release date shipping you are gonna get it shipped out Monday, on there website they say they do there best to ship it the night before it needs to arrive. The other shipping times are all estimates after that day, so usually a little bit afterwords.



Do you have an Amazon distribution center near by, I have one just an hour away so I always get mine shipped at the wee hour, though if the nearest to you is 10 hours away they may ship it faster.

I've had orders arrive before the estimate before with Amazon. Hopefully that's the case this time. Not sure I can wait till Friday for the game!

Well I preordered my DAO CE for PC back on Aug. 17th... and I didn't recieve a shipment email. =[



I did check my account today and it now shows as being prepped for shipment...

Mine (PC Collector's Edition w/ One-Day Shipping) has changed to "Items shipping soon" so I'm hopeful that it'll ship tomorrow. I'd love to get it Tuesday given that they didn't offer Release Date Delivery on the CE.

There is an Amazon distribution center less than 30 minutes from my house, and I know they're gonna send it from that site, to the fedex center about 5 minutes from my house, or the UPS center about 15 minutes away, and it's going to sit there ALL DAY MONDAY, and then make the final itty bitty trip to my work for delivery...

it's very very annoying.

I hear that, the one from me usually get's to my town I live in by 8-10 a.m,  I see it always taunting me saying they are just sitting in the town that is about 30 miles from me, but they will never load it that day and give it to me, I always seem to have to wait the next day, even though i could drive to pick it up.  Maybe I should have it delivered to the acuatl UPS center and just walk in one day asking for it.

Yes, my PC collector's edition that I preordered back in August with free shipping has shipped. They say estimate it will arrive on November 4th, but given that it started in Delaware and only needs to go to New York City, I suspect it might even come sooner.

I ordered the Collector's Edition Strategy Guide from Amazon (releasing the same day as the game), and I'm surprised that the estimate for shipping the product to me still sits at November 9.

Just received notice of shipment from Amazon about twenty min's ago. Estimated delivery date is 11/2.

Mine shipped on Saturday too. It has to go to CA and then it's at the mercy of the military postal system until it gets to me in Japan. Hopefully if the stars and planets align and the plane catches a tail wind I'll get it by Friday. I won't hold my breath though.
