Thing is:



I've seen instances with certain games or items I've purchased through Amazon where it simply didn't match up to the information status online. For example, I had ordered Gears of War 2 from Amazon and it was still showing as an open order the Monday before its release. It actually came to my door later that night. The website seemed a bit behind to say the least.



Other times, I wasn't so lucky.



I'm hoping that DA at least comes by Wednesday. Anything sooner would be great. Still, it's playing on my nerves a bit.

What I hate is when Amazon tells you when to estimate it, you get a shipping notice, look up the UPS info, and find out UPS delayed it.  I have even had it delyaed once by two whole days.  It doesn't happen often, but boy does it make me angry when it does.

The cool part is, when it does actually hit my doorstep and I find it lying there. I'll open the package and feel like I just won a million dollars. That's how jacked up I am about this game. And I'm a sucker for nice CEs... which DA clearly is.

I'm like that too, what I really like is not knowing it came, I didn't hear them or something. Then walk out the door and there it is, like a little present from the Stork or Santa or something like that.

Mine shipped yesterday (11/1) and the site says it's in transit from Kentucky. I live in Kansas City. I'm cheap and opted for free shipping because I bought both DA:O and ME2 as a bundle. My estimated arrival date is still 11/9. I am hoping it'll come sooner than that because I go back to work on the 9th.

my order just moved to that "You're items are being prepared to ship" status. freaking finally... i was hoping i'd wake up and it'd say it's been shipped, cuz it's literally coming from the next town over, so that'd have meant i was getting it today... oh well...

I just checked my order. As of 10am EST my status is "Shipment #1: Shipping Soon" My shipping option was "release-day" so hopefully it will arrive in a timely manor. *crosses fingers* Here's hoping.

Thanks to this thread, I went online to check my personal email, and found a notice from Amazon that my game shipped on November 1st, at 9 pm. I'm stoked!

I swear I'm never pre-ordering another game from Amazon again.

I pre-ordered a CE in freaking Aug. I chose 1 day shipping and my order hasn't even been shipped yet. I also have a projected arrival date of the 5th.

So not only did I put my order in before this guy, but I paid more money for shipping and I'm still getting the game 2 days late?

Does anyone know how canceling an order from Amazon after it's been shipped works?

I'm going to hit up my local Wal-Mart at midnight to see if I can get my hands on a CE. If that doesn't work, I'm gonna be at Best Buy waiting for the doors to open tomorrow to get a CE and it will be cheaper than Amazon.

If I can get one from either store, then screw Amazon.

My order's being processed for shipment now. *rubs hands excitedly* I have release-day shipping, so I'm guessing it'll arrive at the tail end of tomorrow. It's just as well, if I get the game before 3:30 I'll be sorely tempted to just skip class. :innocent:

I originally canceled my pre-order with Amazon because they no longer had the collector's edition available (ordered the CE from EA). Then, on Thursday, I received the email about clicking arrival on release date. So I reordered the regular game. I received notice this morning that the Amazon order has shipped and will be here, at work, tomorrow. Yaaa! Now, what do I do with two games?

Same problem for me.  I ordered the PS3 Collector's Edition from Amazon and for some reason they are still saying the release date is November 17th for the PS3 CE version.  Not sure if this was bad communication or what happened because they seem to be the only ones still claiming this.

My Xbox 360 version (standard version) has shipped from amazon.com and I have a tracking #, est delivery on Nov 3 (release day delivery). Woohoo! The strategy guide I ordered with the game (for an additional 5% off) is in the 'shipping soon' phase, but with an est delivery date of Nov 5.
