Why I like fedex, not only tell you what day it'll be there, but even gives you a time to look for it.

My Amazon page says it has left the seller facility (one state away) and is in transit...but USPS has never heard of the tracking number, and Amazon says it won't be here until the 9th.

Agreed Exar, FedEx is by FAR the superior shipping company, for many more reasons than narrowing down times

As I alluded to in an earlier thread, for pre-orders, my experience with Amazon has been that if you choose free shipping they will threaten you with delays and hold-ups 'till kingdom come, but in the end they back down and ship it at the same time as everyone else who paid for shipping.



I took free shipping on the CE. Up until Saturday, they swore on the order status page that they would not ship until the 9th, and I could expect to take delivery sometime between the 14th and the 17th. I stuck to my guns, and stared them down.



They put it on the loading dock at 11PM Sunday night, new estimated delivery on the 4th. Since it's coming from Nevada to So. Cal, and USPS has already confirmed "incoming scan" at their hub, there's a possibility I might even receive it tomorrow.

Mine has shipped. I also agree that FedEx is much better than UPS. All "brown can do" for me is deliver my package after their delivery hours. Absolutely never fails with them.

I wish mine was shipping with FedEx and not UPS. UPS always takes for-friggin-ever to deliver here, and even though I chose release-day delivery, I still don't think it'll arrive at a reasonable time tomorrow. It might not arrive tomorrow at all. <_<

I just don't like where they leave my packages, I have a porch for a reason, it's like Easter everytime I get a package with them and am trying to find where they claimed they left it.

Shipped from Delaware when there's s major Amazon distribution center 15 minutes from my house. ETA 11/10. Oh joy.

^^ haha that's how mine is!!! only my ETA is tomorrow before 3 (thank god for release shipping) but there are TWO amazon dist centers in Arizona, and it comes from EFFING DELAWARE!!!

I have 2-day shipping and mine has stated "shipping soon" for over a day. At the latest mine should have shipped out this AM. This is the second time in a row where I have pre-ordered months in advance and I ended up getting my product late. My current estimate is for the 6th. I used to get great service from Amazon. This last year it has gone downhill.

I got you beat, I live in seattle and can walk to their main office but they shipped from Nevada.... still had to pay the sales tax because they are in my state though, sic!


I don't get why people are making a fuss about CE not having release day shipping, i got the one day shipping and i'm getting it tomorrow, probably evening though because UPS always gets here after 7PM.

Yes! Just checked Amazon again. My CE shipped and is now estimated to arrive by tomorrow afternoon.

Since mine is also coming from Delaware, I'm starting to think that's the only distribution center that got copies of DA, or it's the one that has the most. And my tracking updated about an hour ago... it went UP (I'm down in South Carolina) to Philly. I guess there were no airports closer than Philly.

My PC Collector's Edition from Amazon is Out for Delivery and they did not promise release date delivery on it. I'm happy.

I bought mine for the ps3 collection edition when the date was still set for the 17th, Any one no if they change it? It stil today says the 17th even though its released on the thrid? why haven't i got a email or change of date?

I'm not asking for anything special from UPS...I just hope they accomplish their mission and get it here...like before midnight or at all. They've been kind of wierd before, it isn't my favorite postage company either but hopefully this time they'll come through.
