But I'm glad you got what you wanted out of it. I know a LOOONG time from now there's gonna be that one guy who's mad he can't get the items and demands they be released via free DLC packs.

Some of the causes for not wanting to play the game again:
Not my cup of tea.
Got bored after playing the demo like a dozen times expecting the gun to be unlocked.
Had a fight with my wife because "you only care for those fu**ing games and act like I wasn't even here".
Got really frustrated trying to explain the problem to the EA support guy that could barely speak english*...

Maybe, with time, when I forget about my frustration, I may give the game another chance.

Edit.: and english isn't even my first language, but that guy.... oh, forget about it... I'm gonna say in a way you will understand: for every thing he wrote, I had a "facepalm". By the end of conversation it was a double facepalm.

Nah you can unlock the Items if you paly the demo through on steam too... I played my demo on Steam... unlocked the armour at the start, played through the Well of Souls, then once I finished in there, you get to explore the outside world for 45mins... at the end of that 45mins a pop up comes up saying you have unlocked the gun as well as the last of the goodies for KOA...

I think there's issues with The Chakram Launcher appearing for those who played the demo from the Origin download. Perhaps its better to just do it from Steam.

My girlfriend's a gamer. She's the one who got me into TES and convinced me to buy my first TES game(Skyrim).

Played the demo through a few days ago till the timer ran out. Managed to do all (I think) quests. It seems like a good game, not great, but worth picking up somewhere down the road if I felt like it.

Don't forget to uninstall it from Origin, and deleting the folder "User/[yourusername]/Documents/My Games/Reckoning" (not sure about the name of the folder, but it is under "My Games" ), before installing it on Steam. I did it, don't know if it's mandatory, but this will do no harm anyway.

You know what I don't understand? Why the 45 mins? I can't stop wondering if EA just trying to make people play the thing 10 times to get to see all of the content. I played twice and I am done. Not just with the demo. Because EA is really starting to make me sick, and this will have influence on Bioware and any other company in the EA web. Because honestly, that's not how you treat people. Not sure why they even try so hard to be the biggest jerk in the industry.

Right, because its sooo bad that there's an optional demo to play where you have the option of playing for 45 minutes to get optional content for another game you have the option of buying.

Biggest jerks in the industry? Indeed.

The demo is out for 360, PS3, and PC. PC demo downloads can be through Origin or Steam. Doesn't matter which you choose.

That's not the point. They don't make the demo and cross promotion to do us a favor. They do it because nobody even would have noticed KoA otherwise. And then they tell you 'have fun exploring' and give you a 45 minute time frame in which you can't even see half of the quests. Yeah, fun exploring. They make you race through the demo to at least see some quests. Good joke. As I said, they don't even have a good reason to be a jerk because it will bite them.

Its okay if you don't understand a lot of English, we'll work through it.

What platform are you playing on? Xbox 360, PS3, PC?

Did you play the entire demo? You have to play through everything. Eventually in the demo there will be a 45 minute timer. You'll unlock The Chakram Launcher after that timer hits zero.

Check >Profile> your registered game content

It should be listed above your ME2 stuff. 2 items for ME3.
