The only thing that really annoys me about these promotions is that the main game ends up having less than a handful of armor sets (ME2 had what? Like 3 pieces per slot?) but a dozen of these exclusive promo sets and a dozen more DLC armors. I can't help but feel like development priority is more on nickle and diming rather than making the best game they can make in the default 60 dollar box. It seems there's going to be a lot of really nice promo armors, but how many non-promo armors will there be in the base game, and will they be quality designed and nice or just quickly made and thrown in the game?

It's a new IP being developed by 38 Studios(Curt Schilling) and Big Huge Games. Members of the staff include Ken Rolston who was the lead designer for Morrowind and Oblivion, R.A. Salvatore one of the most famous fantasy authors, and Todd McFarlane creator of Spawn. Reckoning in a nutshell is basically an open world RPG with action combat. It has random loot similar to Diablo with unique items mixed in. There are no set classes as you can freely invest points into three trees might, sorcey, and finesse.

Here's a nice video that will show many different features of Reckoning.

Hmmm...I rather wait for the review then go out and immediately order a game Im not familiar with. Especially one that I just heard of. Fable kind of ruined the whole fantasy thing for me

I'll play the Alamur demo to get the armour for ME3. However, I shall not be purchasing that game. I watched the video for it with the Claudia Black voice-over and was less than impressed.

I will play this demo for the gun, because that gun sounds awesome! And I was so hoping the dual-wielding omni-blades was for Mass Effect 3... that would have been really epic!

Well the Sentinel class does get dual omni-blades for its heavy melee... :happy:

So we'll get everything regardless of system right?
I plan to buy KoA on PC but am getting ME 3 on 360. I'll be downloading both demos on PC so I won't have to put up with MS' wait a week bullcrap. I'll still be able to get my items for both games?
