Yeah, its only for a few folks. Dunno what the cause is, apparently even for Steam users some aren't getting the items.

On 360 I got all my items in my first go. They didn't show up till Bioware activated the ME3 item unlocks in the entitlements page, but they were there, and still are.

Yeah to 'parry' you block as they're about to hit you but there is a rather wide margin compared to other games. For instance Dark Souls 'window of opportunity' for a parry attempt is... super tiny. and if you screw that up there's a high chance of death.
KoA seems to give a rather solid window, if someone goes swinging at you, blocking mid-swing will often work. You can parry the wolves by pulling block as they jump, not as they're about to hit you. Also its not a directed thing which is kind of funny. Like I mentioned earlier parry (like a lot of things) seem to be AoE. So if theres say 3 guys around you, and you parry 1 of them - it hits all 3 heh.
Shields do physical dmg, Talismans do more dmg, but protect less (less armor) but do elemental dmg. Which often has lingering effects. Lightning for instance tends to randomly shock/stun them for a few seconds after, often interrupting them from starting another attack. Fire just... burns constantly. Cold slows them down and all that.
Plus throwing up a magic ward looks less awkward then making a giant shield appear.

I ran through the Demo, only got one Amalur unlock and one ME3 unlock.
Ran the demo through it's full course and watched the video at the end and yes, that was through Steam. I'd rather not run through the demo again as I'd rather just play the real game on release. Meh.

Heh yeah there's like 2 at the beginning and another when you finish the tutorial stage. Or is it one for getting to the menu, 1 for starting a new char and... ahh I dunno. Games got a lot of unlock stuff though all over the place.

I'm sure someone answered this question somewhere along the 113 pages of this thread, but do your unlocks show up somewhere? I received all the unlocks but I don't know if there's a part on your Origin profile that confirms you have them.
Also, it was a fun game. I think I'll pick up a copy. By only compliant is that I wish your character had voice acting.

Go to the left of the page you're on right now and look at Profile, then click Your Registered Game Content.
Items should be at the top.

Had another person get their Launcher through Steam rather than through Origin.
I again stress that if there's any issue you might be having with unlocking your Chakram Launcher you should attempt a Steam download and play that.

after several demo playthroughs via origins, my content did not unlock.
Tried it once via Steam and..... YAY!!! everything unlocked properly AND showing up in 'my registered content' here on BSN.
So if you don't get your launcher, play the demo via steam, it worked for me, maybe for you too!!!

I think I'm pretty much FUBAR'd because it won't let me delete this profile to update my current gamertag and on the xbox it costs me 800 MSP to change my gamertag to the one that matches this profile. I'm apparently connected to some EA account or else it wouldn't have let me access to the servers and said that I unlocked these items. I just have no way to confirm whether I will get these unlockables or not. I guess I'll have to wait until march 6th to find out
