I love the art style and adore the combat. Feels a bit sluggish at times but great nonetheless
The thing is though, the world lacks a certain depth. I'll play & stay for the gameplay but the story doesn't seem all that special. The fate/destiny system coupled with the Devil May Cry style unlock-able moves give you lots of flexibility to play as you please. This game has tons of flash and finesse.
Looking at what the Chakrams & Feyblades do, I suprized this isn't a spectacle fighter like God Of War or DMC. There is something special about knocking an opponent into the air using a longsowrd and juggling him with the daggers.
Reminds me of Fallout in that I can just slaughter everyone.
Give your charecter white skin, make him bald and with Red Tattoos while wielding Feyblades and hey Kratos!

It is so weird seeing someone say its horrible and then the next saying its amazing.
Maybe because I'm a huge fan of God of War style action gameplay
Seeing that kind of whizz bang flash coupled with the QTE executions in an RPG of all things is surprizing
If it becomes an MMO, it will be very similar to how Guild Wars 2 plays with a focus on dodging & blocking
Also, the QTE's are well implemented in that they are single button NON compulsory events that net extra XP
Addendum, Applejack is best Pony... not Rarity!

The button mashing during a Fate kill only bugs me when I can't get 100% of a bonus.
I believe overworld enemies eventualy respawn & use reckoning mode only for boosted damage & speed
The fate kills are cool though.

Enemies respawn every 3-4 days. You can speed this up by using a bed. I also successfully did the timer glitch on the PC (so at least it's confirmed for two platforms) before going to sleep, and ended up hitting level 8 before stopping. The easiest way to do it is by using that invisibile barrier that gives you two warnings that you can't pass (northern most that's in the video). All you need to do is repeatedly pause the game during the last 10 seconds until you're down to 0:01 and then do a roll forward so that you get the double popup saying that you can't enter. This overrides the timer popup.

Damn my slow fingers, I always get like 70 or so.
That would have to be 75% since they are intervals of 25%. I dunno how you press the button, but I just put the controller on my leg when I am about to hit "A" and then mash it with my thumb. It resting on my leg makes it bounce slightly so the inputs happen faster. Actually, I'm not even really "pressing" the button with just my thumb, it's more like resting the top of my thumb on the button and moving the rest of my hand like a jackhammer.
The button presses aren't what get me, it's actually hitting the correct button as soon as it pops up that does me in.

Problem is the initial button press. If you press the wrong button first, you're pretty much screwed.
If you can hit the correct button first and spam it, you should be good.

Was interesting enough, although I don't think it's really for me.

Yeah me too. I got 1 1/2 more play throughs I need to get done of ME2 before Amalur comes out but waiting on them is distracting me from playing ME2 in preparation for ME3... it's aggrivating.
I need to finish my carryover save for Mass Effect 3 and I still haven't decided to have the romance path be Ash-loyal or Ash-Tali.
Ergh.
KoA is going to get in the way, but only briefly. The ME games override everything else I play.

2nd play through was a fresh start in ME2 using gensis, wasn't with anyone, got with Jack.
3rd im working on now is an Adept, was with Ashley in ME1, will remain true for ME3 - little over halfway done with that one.
4th is my Infiltrator, he'll remain loyal to Liara if I can work up the motivation to finish third and start/beat this one.
Plan to do a second save on the Adept play through to quick-romance Miranda so I can see what jealous/angry Ashley looks like and, also, how that plays out with Miranda in ME3. I have more then enough time since I don't do N7 missions. Just the main stuff, loyal, DLC stuff. Still hit 30 with all that but cut out a good bit of running around. Just a matter of sittng down and actually 'doing' it.

Maybe it knows from past EA games I played?
edit: Just to clarify, I'm on Xbox 360.

The demo didn't ask me to login to EA's server i.e. I didn't give them my login and password to Origin. Is that normal?

Likely.

The demo itself was fun enough. At the beginning I was a bit worried because I only got a black screen until I deactivated post processing with my AMD Radeon 4750. The overall world was nice, I like the way they have semi open areas and which allows them to tell a coherent and concise story and still gives the player the opportunity of exploration. I don't like the colorful comic style though. I'll take Skyrims nordic dirty look over it an day.
Anyway, items secured and on I go with my ME stuff.

Wow, that is weird though. I started the demo through Origin (so it should already have known me) and it still asked me to log in. If the game could read your login data from previous games, that would be really strange, wouldn't it?
If you are referring to me, I'm on Xbox 360.

Was the same for me. Should be tied to your GamerTag, assuming it's associated with your EA/Bioware account. The stuff will appear on the user entitlements page if it's all good: http://social.biowar...ntitlements.php

But BioWare, being BioWare, thinks mystery is this majestic thing they love smearing in are faces. I personally dislike not knowing mechanics, its not a mystery that's fun to unravel. If we're really lucky the demo will have the choice-thing at the start but I doubt it. Least we get full character customization, male/female, all 6 classes. That parts pretty sweet.
