So basically Staves are the close range magic weapon and Sceptres are the long range magic weapon.

Replayed it on the 360 to get the 360 ME3 percs. Enjoyed the game more that time I think. It's a step in the right direction for action RPGs. I still don't like how the main character runs/walks though... just doesn't feel natural to me and really pulls me out of it (odd deal-breaker... but there you have it). I also have trouble getting pulled into the story (presentation maybe?)... but overall, a solid game that just doesn't quite do it for me.

Well, the article does compare it to the Cerberus Network, for ME2, so as long as the pass is still available afterwards like the Cerberus Network, it shouldn't be that bad, just annoying if over priced, IMHO.

If it's like ME2 Cerebrus pass, the pass will be free with each new copy. Just don't get it second hand if you don't want to pay for extras. It sucks for those who can't connect to the internet or mostly buy second hand. And not all of the single player is locked, seven quests are, still that's pretty bad, I know they hate second hand game market but this is not the way to go. It's very annoying.

Bioware should take some notes from this game when it comes to tattoos in Dragon Age. Game is pretty solid. I'd probably wait until the price is lower to buy it, but it reminds me a lot of Fable.

Totally didn't know about the Chakram Launcher until my fiance unlocked it, Luckily she was playing the demo logged in under my profile. Which worked out since she's not into ME so yay for me!

I finished the demo twice and got the "You will surely get the launcher" info twice. But the chakram launcher wasn't added to my game content.  (Unlike the Armor). I have no idea what I can do about it (contacted EA support but they can't help me yet).

Edit: And yes, I've checked my Internet connection while playing.

I've put in around 12 hours into the demo so far, and only on my last playthrough did the special Chakrams as well as the Armor appear for the first time.

You can always buy new games later on(I refuse to purchase used games ever), so I don't see the problem.

If you hate EA, just buy it on Steam, 38 Studio self published it on Steam, it's 100% EA free.

And No, not only Steam version but all PC version game dont use online pass, online pass is for fighting used game market, theres no such thing as PC used game market nowadays, in a way Steam (or Origin for that matter) is like an online pass already —— you always purchase new, you cant sell it to others and you need at least one time online authentication.

   Plus, i dont feel this whole online pass thing is a big issue. If you always wait to buy used, than you never supported any game company, so why should they care about you? As for the people who dont have internet, im sure there will be a very small group of people who have difficulty getting net, but they are just too few, you cant make everyone happy. But anyway, if someone dont have acces to the net, he/she wouldnt know anything about this whole issue.

  Of course there are people saying "I can surfing the internet with my Iphone, you cant plug the 360 on Iphone", what can i say? You can afford the most horribly overpriced electronic device and the data package, than you can find a way to download the dlc.

same problem for me. Been playing it three times now and I'm honestly about to give up. Got the armor right away, but no Launcher. I'm getting the popups every time, watch the vids at the end and still nothing. *sigh*
