Yeah, helmet removal is a deal breaker as far as armor is concerned.

I had to stick to N7 armor in ME2 because of it.

In KoA, there's a helmet toggle. WINNING.

Then you should be happy since somebody posted a twitter comment from a bioware employee who said the helmet toggle works with this specific armor.

Actually, the helmet toggle supposedly works with all armors. So I'm giddy as hell(not showing it though).

This is great and I look forward to reading more. Curse you EA, I thought I had finally caught up on my game releases and could go back and play/finish the several games I've been neglecting, and then you have to go and get me interested in a brand new one I'd never even heard of.... :pinched:

That armor looks great, but I hope its customizable, and not a body suit like the other promotional armor.

Well, you can at least take the helmet off. That alone makes it better than 90% of the other DLC promotion armors ME2 had.

Read 'you can at least have the helmet off during conversations..'

Not to be a broken record, but it would help people not get the wrong idea about a full on helmet toggle for these DLC armors, which could lead to upset later if it turns out that only the twitter-confirmed 'helmets off during convo' turns out to be the case

I was hoping someone else would point that out. BioWare has not said the helmets are removable outside of conversations.

I know, it's insidious.

I'll have to get a government subsidy for all these games I want to buy!

Yeah, its kind of ridiculous how many games I've been interested in lately.

I have 4 games I haven't beaten yet, and here I am getting ANOTHER one. Ergh.

This ^ and I'm really excited there will be an Xbox demo available as well. Maybe I'll give KOA a chance and buy it after I've sold my soul to ME3. Forgot armor looks awesome! Cant wait to get it.

Same, would prefer the helmet folds out whe combat begins but if not then off during convo is fine.

The spikes on the uniform could present an advantage. Imagine being sucker punched? Yeowch.

Of course, the game won't take that into account.  The spikes are just there too look dangerous, not be dangerous.

Yeah, there won't be a gameplay benefit besides the armor's buff to melee damage(as far as the spikes use is concerned). Charge won't even get that benefit.

Still, it'd be nice to imagine it does.

Rofl.

So, reading up in other places, I'm realizing a lot of people are finding this game through the promotion.

Glados-"HUGE SUCCESS."

I'm happy about that. Amalur is a very cool looking fantasy univerese and has some real talent behind it.

If this game does well, we could have another major chain of RPG games out there.

God I hope so.

Maybe they could remake KOTOR with this combat/roleplaying style and Mass Effect graphics...I would be in Jedi Heaven.

Actually I think if this game were in the Jade Empire universe I'd be much more interested.  I've just had one two many classic European fantasy LoTR-based IPs...does EA really need another Dragon Age?

But I am truly digging the God of War style action mixed with all of that RPG depth.
