Its not a big deal if you screw up. You should be able to complete the demo at any point and have the items granted to you.
If not, and you run into any issues, please contact EA. Their contact information shouldn't be too hard to find.

Beware, people do actually say that WoW is cartoony.
Because it actually is cartoony sorry to say, Ive played it before. I havent played TOR like id like to have but I am sure TOR is going to bomb WoW eventually. One thing i dont like about MMOs is their repetitive nature and TOR sounds like it doesnt have that.

Hey guys, can we move the DA2 discussion to the DA2 boards? Hell, I even have a thread related to KoA and the DA franchise in there.
Lets try to keep this thread specifically KoA/ME3 related. I don't want any of the higher ups saying we're off topic or anything.
is this thread of yours in the nonspoiler section because I lack DA2 requirement. Sold the game after 2 playthroughs because like most say "good story, poor design" and its the poor design and lack of new maps where they shouldve been considering the name of the maps that made me hate DA2. Dont get me wrong story was great but a great story cant keep you playing a game that feels like you been replaying it alot despite it being the first or second playthrough.
Now back to topic, hope I can remember my password for my EA account. It auto logs me on when I do decide to play ME2. So hopefully it does it when i start the demo of KoA up and hopefully it indicates at the end that you recieved the bonus items. I just dont know if I will be able to login through the computer without resetting my password to check unless it shows up through the BSN which I doubt it will lol.

WoW and TOR are MMO's. KoA is being created to get people into the world of Amalur before an MMO based in that universe is finished and released.

Your EA login should be the same as for these forums.....you're posting here so how are you not remembering your password?

Not to far off, there's a pistol that fires explosive sticky energy...thingies. The Valkyrie? Or... something. There's a base ME3 assault rifle (not part of any promotion/DLC) that fires off explosive rounds a well. Meaning the Chakram launcher should be able to be modded with AR mods.
Not sure how it'll be set apart from the other AR that fires off explosive rounds. But if I had to guess I'd say its probably slower, may do more dmg, and probably has a delayed blast on impact as it 'sticks' to stuff. Who knows though yeah?
-edit-
End of the first-ish paragraph "...and special Reckoning-themed armor and assault rifle in Mass Effect 3 designed by award-winning artist Todd McFarlane."

But it makes sense in the ME world, so let it be. If its an Assault Rifle, it better be good. I'm hearing about a bunch of AR's, and I wish I didn't have to choose between them all.

Also forgot to mention, the art style of KoA gives people WoW vibes.
Worse.
DA2 vibes.
*shudder*
When I first saw those cartoon styles and oversized weapons I thought "Oh look, DA2 DLC."

A bit more complicated....Reckoning was originally planned as an MMO before they decided to release it as a SP RPG....now they still say that plans to expand it into an MMO remain but I would call that an extremely thin straw. First balancing MMOs costs enormous ammounts of money, second most MMOs have proven to be failures....very few made it big time and lastly any future plans hang in the balance of how well Reckoning sells and how well it is received. I can easily see the franchise continuing as a SP series but to actually pull an MMO it would take a whole lot of convincing the people with unlimited hundreds of millions of dollars and I think the chances of that are very slim. Not because it is a bad game but because it is mostly unknown and would need to shock the masses in order to reel in the neccessary support.

They're still working on an MMO. The working title is Project Copernicus, just like Fable's working title was Project Ego.

You and me both LPPrince, sooo many guns now. Over doubled the base, not counting DLC from ME2 (counting ME2+DLC). It's a bit staggering, in a wonderfully delicious way.
Yeah, but you know there's going to be that ONE gun you prefer over the rest, and you'll likely never use the others after that point.
Come on Bioware, all I've asked for gun-wise is an automatic assault rifle that doesn't suck. COME ON.

In away it also kind of reminds me of a more complex Bastion as you have 2 weapons and a shield (or magic shield via a talisman) with same kind of controle scheme. Same kind of frame-interrupting dodging and all that. But all run with heavy, HEAVY RPG mechanics and numbers. They really thought that thing through. And the idea of mixing spells directly into attack combinations and switching right back into another combination with out any awkward pauses.
Ahh man, it needs to be tomorrow already.

Hell I wanna play KoA demo because its the KoA demo. The game its self just looks fun as hell. Been spending past few days pouring over all the information on it. You know there lead combat designer worked on the whole legacy of kain series (including the Soul Reavers and last games). Knowing that plus the actual systems got me a bit gitty. It's pretty complex while seemingly very easy to get into since any given weapons handled via its button.

Yeah, I like how EVERYTHING can be worked into a combo seamlessly. Combat is going to be fast and all over the place.

There's a reason Reckoning was turned SP....they need more funds to create, balance and sustain an MMO....at this point any work they are doing on the MMO side likely falls into ideas and drawings but little else untill and unless Reckoning succeeds on the scale that would merit an MMO and for that it would need to be comparable to the TES titles in terms of success. This is a new IP and a MUCH larger risk than something with the fanbase of Star Wars and even for TOR the investors were on the point of bailing out at a few points in time when they felt unconvinced that the risk was worth it. It'll be A LOT more difficult for a new and unknown IP to convince.

I mean I loved Ninja Gaiden on xbox/360 but its spells where all...cut-sceney. They didn't flow with the combat, it was more a get-outa-jail card you used sparingly. And the actual base combat had less to it.
And that's not counting 'any' of the actual RPG systems underlying everything in and out of combat. These next few months, between that and ME3 re gonna make me one happy gaming hermit lemmy tell ya.
-edit-
I mean what TES brings open world wise to an RPG, right? Reckoning brings that to the combat system. With out sacrificing the open world TES has, or the length of the game. Main story is 'about 40 hours if its all you do'. Overall game contents in the hundreds of hours (testers rushing skipping talks are 200+).
Thing I like about it over say, Skyrim? All the big quest chains (including main story and fighter-like guild stuff) are a bit more BioWare in choices. It's not a linear path - you have to make choices along the way and it ultimately defines what happens to that guild when its all over.
I love multiple path stuff like that and its all over the place in Reckoning.
