Yeah, I'm not sure they put a whole helmet toggle in game. If so, they could just leave it at "helmet toggle" and be done with it.

Yet another different helmet issue would be being able to have it removed full stop when customising, so that you do not have any toggle, but the helmet is just 'off' until you go back into armour customization

They were working on the MMO before the Single player game, so tough break Darth. The whole point of Amalur is for the MMO.

As for beating Skyrim in popularity, like hell that's going to happen.

Lets be realistic here, no way KoA will beat a TES game in popularity in its first outing.

I'm glad they went with a single player game first, I'd be too busy with Guild Wars 2, unless the MMO wont have a sub fee.

I kinda wish they had a helmet in combat areas toggle. But hey, I'll take what I can get.

Don't worry, it doesn't.

@femshep_com I just tried out the Reckoning armor. Our "helmet off in conversations" toggle works with it. It should work other sets too.

-'Helmet off in conversations' toggle- does not equal -Helmet toggle-

 Broken record playing here

There's also "off" option that makes helmet to be off whole time.

This "off option". Does it only remove your helmet visualy, while the helmet stats remain on your character, or is it off as in the stats also get removed?

Don't mean to be an ass about this, but you got a tweet or quote for that?

In reference specifically to 'armour sets' such as exclusive pre-order DLC etc.

Sorry, haven't thought someone will like to have "helmet off" in non-conversational situations. May I ask you about reasons?

If it works during conversations, why it wouldn't work all the time?

Besides, it been confirmed months ago that you will have helmet toggle on, off during conversation, off.

Probably only visually, though with full set of armor helmets don't give bonus alone so no need to worry with those armors.

Right. Thnx for the info.

This sort of "helmet off" feature was one of the best things in DA2. I'm glad they are bringing it to ME3 as well.

It could be just an overlooked feature

A toggle for 'helmet not visible during conversations' is one feature, but it bears little relation to having you be able to customise it being removed in all instances. The latter is more dependent on pre-order/DLC armour being subject to the same piece-by-piece customisation of the N7 armour. So as in ME2, the question is whether this armour is supplied in one piece like the Collector armour, but with the benefit of a toggle for conversations, or supplied in multiple pieces like Kestrel armour

Reasons? Just character customisation really; I play my Adept as not wearing a helmet, and that wouldn't be a 'just conversation' aesthetic choice

What if we actually like helmet on sometimes, and we like the voice modulation and the sheer look of a bad-ass armored figure speaking you down with pure renegade? :/

I have a question regarding the Mass Effect 3 & Reckoning crossover items. In this FAQ http://reckoning.ama...ing-mass-effect its state that it says you have to play both demos to unlock the items as well as if you play it on PC you only unlock the items for PC and not for PS3 or Xbox360. But I heard different versions and want to be sure.

My situation is the following: I don't want to play the Mass Effect 3 demo in regards of spoilers but would like to try out the Reckoning demo on PC (because my Xbox360 is at my parents in the basement at the moment) and unlock the ME3 bonus items for the Xbox360 because that is where my ME saves are and where I will play the third game on. Is this possible?

No. You must play the demo on the same platform you intend to play the full games on, in your case, 360.

I have a question, I plan to replay Mass Effect series on the 360 when i can afford to invest in one again. I enjoyed Mass Effect 1 when it was released for 360 but had to switch to PS3 because my 360 meant its fate a year after I bought the damn thing. So I was wondering will I be able to download KoA demo and play it for the items in the months to come so I can obtain the items on the 360 version? I dont know if my friend will download it so i can play it 360 wise this weekend so thats why i ask if it can be done in the future after both games release.

Yeah, the demo's not gonna go anywhere, and it'll always unlock those items for you. You'll be fine.

Gamers who play through the Reckoning demo – which will be available for download on PlayStation Network, Xbox LIVE, and Origin on Tuesday, January 17 – will discover a treasure trove of bonus content in the demo's hour and a half of play, including three in-game items that can be used in the full version of Reckoning and two in-game items to play with in Mass Effect 3.

Bonuses for Reckoning include a Twist of Fate Card and the Twinned Souls Chakram, as well as the Infernal Helm. Players can unlock the first two items by installing the demo, then complete it to claim the helm.

I know I'm terribly late to this party but unfortunately I need sleep sometimes.....but with the above post if it turns out to be true my mind has been irreparably blown. I cannot wait to play the demo now.

You didn't know that you were getting extra items for Reckoning through its own demo?

It'll likely be the same for ME3.
