Sorry, haven't thought someone will like to have "helmet off" in non-conversational situations. May I ask you about reasons?

 Reasons? Just character customisation really; I play my Adept as not wearing a helmet, and that wouldn't be a 'just conversation' aesthetic choice

...but at that point just don't wear a helmet if it is a decision about being an adept.

People want to have the extra benefits and buffs of wearing a helmet without actually having said helmet cover up the face they spent time creating in the character creation screen.

Its why I never had my Shepard stick with the DLC armors in ME2, but instead went with this-

Yes and yes. At least, the PC demo said something about being an Origin download, so I guess so.

I have a question, I plan to replay Mass Effect series on the 360 when i can afford to invest in one again. I enjoyed Mass Effect 1 when it was released for 360 but had to switch to PS3 because my 360 meant its fate a year after I bought the damn thing. So I was wondering will I be able to download KoA demo and play it for the items in the months to come so I can obtain the items on the 360 version? I dont know if my friend will download it so i can play it 360 wise this weekend so thats why i ask if it can be done in the future after both games release.

At the end of this page , it says "OFFER EXPIRES [3.17.12]" so i think we have to unlock it before ME3 is out. I hope i'm wrong, i'm in the same case but for the pc version, the "thing" i use now can't even run The Witcher at low def. so... i can probably forget about the demo(s) and the free stuff from it (at least my main shep is on the 360).

You can see through the Sentry Interface clearly. Its like wearing glasses, only the visor provides tactical information as you wear them. If anything, it may give your surroundings a tint of that good ol' Mass Effect blue.

They don't, and Shepards slowly going blind from blueglare. I literally never ware head gear/helms in ME2. Stats be damned, I can kill **** with out upgrades if I have to. I can make do with out 5% heatshot dmg or whatever.

Yeah, I just went with the visor, as well - SHEPARD NEEDS NO PROTECTIVE HEADGEAR.

Most who don't like helmets don't like them because it both removes the entire point of customizing your character and makes it more difficult/impossible to read facial expressions that are important in character interaction.

For example, would Jack crying during her romance segment mean as much if she were wearing a helmet? Or hell, even her alt appearance with that god awful pair of shades?

Or how about on Illium, when Shepard makes that face at the asari who said asaris in unhappy relationships can just wait for human partners to die but can't do that with krogan?

You wouldn't even know Shepard had a hilarious look on his face if he/she was wearing a helmet.

But with the visor, I can still see all the lulz.

And the extra headshot damage is just icing on the cake. My delicious Science Fiction flavored cake.

I'll still take it off, but I won't deny its a good helmet.

Just dropping in to say, KoA:R demo coming really soon (17th right?)! Can't wait! Between the Origin issue and ME3, I really look forward to let myself escape into the world of Amalur.

I love helmets, I just hate helmets in my talky moments. And its a bit awkward having it on even when your just walking around in the Citadel. Kinda why I'd love to see a 'combat-zone' only helmet option you know? Have em there on missions, off when its not a combat mission.

I dream of a game, someday, having your helmet function like a sheathed weapon, dangling off your belt till fights start and you see the animation of the character slapping on the helm. Until then its auto-hiding in conversations.
