up all the time. Tho i did just speak to an EA advisor (about something totally different) and at end of call i asked him when it wud be available and he said to give them a few more hours as it should go up today, he couldnt say exactly but he said maybe around 12 his time and its about half 4, almost 5 now where he is. he also said ME3 demo should be out fairly soon but theres not any ETA on it that he could say.

Thanks for the direct link. I couldn't find it on the console anywhere or on the website, odd. But I'm downloading it now. I've been finishing up some assignments and could use a break.Thanks.
No problem.
Just some additional info for those still waiting(PC & PS3): it is a 1.9GB download, it's going pretty fast for me(50% done now) but I guess that depends of the speed of your internet connection.

1.9gb.. if I get full speed from the download server then it'll take from 30min - 1 hour for me. I also read up on the demo in the mean time, apparently we get nearly full access of the first town in the demo, plenty of things to mess around with. Quite a lot of replayability for the demo.
That's about the time I'm looking at for the 360 download as well....70% done now so closer to the half hour mark.

Yeah for a demo it's apparently pretty damn huge. And I like how the 45 minute timer is only after you've cleared the intro stage and get set free to wander.
To be fair it is a pretty huge game plus considering the freedom the demo gives us I cannot say the size is unjustified.

I don't mean file size I mean freedom to do stuff. Which im happy about, wasn't a complaint.

Someone going to hack this timer sooner or laterIncognito JC wrote...
There's a timer? Damn. I thought we are free to do what we want up to a certain point before it ends.

Not sure, can't find that info anywhere. Keep a lookout on their official site and Origin's site maybe. I'm not going to get the Origin client for this.
Cheers, I'll keep my eye out and post here if I find anything.

Thing is theres 3 outside 'zones' of area to explore, side quests and so forth. Which is pretty damn big. From my understanding the area size takes people hours... so theres no linear 'till you hit the end'. It's literally a big sandbox demo. So... yeah I dunno, woulda been nice with out a timer for sure. But this kinda forces me, at least, to try out different races and class combos and strike out in different directions each time.
-edit-
Another way to look at it is, they went for a 'One and a half hour demo' as they've said... but the demo actually contents more like 4 or 5 hours of stuff to do (maybe more). It's kinda like broken up, free arcade game.... kinda.

How I understand it, you have main story mission and after you're done with it you then get time limit to explore.

Since Origin is not required I doubt many people will launch it through the Origin application.VinWizzy wrote...

Yeah there's a timer but its only after you get out to the open. The intro stage can take up to 45-minutish if you take your time (but could also be blown past easily). Once your out and finish the little intro-part on the outside you get 45 minutes to explore.

That's good to know.. if they do find a way to remove the timer on the PC version, we can basically get a small part of the game early
