The demo tells you...you get pop-up messages at the start....you get the armor before you start and the rifle only after you finish I think.

And if I'm not mistaken, we have to sit through the credits and a promotional trailer at the end in order to unlock the disc launcher in ME3.

Log in to your Origin account( your EA account is now Origin account) in Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning Demo and you'll get armor DLC item, bead Demo and you'll get weapon DLC item.

Then when you activate Mass Effect 3 in March, you'll automatically unlock those DLC items, unless you play Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning Demo after that.
Then you only need to log in to Origin account in ME3 and they you'll get those DLC items.

If you can't get on there website, and don't see it in the new demos (for XBL) try going to demo side and searching by letter.

Haha wow no wonder. I found it now though I would have had more time to download this since 5:20 but I didn't bother checking as I didn't see it on the new demos screen.

Quick Question before I boot up the demo. Do I have to sit through 45 minutes to unlock the Weapon or can i quite once I get out of the intro and obtain the weapon?

Might have to wait until tonight to unlock the weapon, don't think I have 45 minutes to spare this morning.

Silver members have to wait a week to play newly released demos I believe.

Some demos don't show up for silver for a week after its initial release, kind of depends on the demo. Hell some are gold only - no idea what this one will be but probably a week. Maybe not.

And yeah - the Chakram Launcher is an Assault Rifle - it says in the first main paragraph in the OP quote. 'Armor and Assault Rifle for playing blah blah'.
