You would not.  The FAQ on the Amalur site says you must play the demo on the platform you want items for.

Meh, I played Amalur on Steam... but I play the ME series on the 360... hopefully they'll allow for both... or I'm gonna have to do that all over again...

Tough luck champ, you'll have to do it all over again. You MUST play the demo on the SAME platform you intend to receive the items for.

Same here. I assume EA servers experience... some problems now, so not all unlockables shows up immediately.

Edit to clarify: popup in game shows up, but BSN "registered game content" doesn't notice this fact.

I think the confusion here (for me anyway) is that playing the Dragon Age 2 demo unlocked dlc for all platforms (for me). It would be easy to assume this is like that.

Well, it doesn't work like that, unfortunately.

Got to remember, KoA isn't a Bioware game, so their demo was crafted differently.

tip: try to log out and back in here on the forum, that's what did it for me. I wasn't seeing it either, but had already finished the demo. Then I logged out and back in, and it was in my registered game content.

So I have the same problem (armor got unlocked but not the chakram, even though the demo ran the full 45 minutes after coming out of the tower and I got to see the promo trailer and got the message and all). I just tried to log out of the forum and back in. No changed to my user entitlements page. I still only have the armor. I guess I'll have to replay the demo later. to re-unlock the chakram launcher.

Thanks. So, I guess it's no demo for me then. Just downloading the 2.9 gig would have been dodgy already, I'm definately not doing it through any DD client I have no business installing on a work PC.

Aww, should have checked the boards first. Played through the game on PC and quite enjoyed it but now I have to do it again on 360. I figured it would be like Dragon Age 2 where it would unlock for all the games. Seems like I wasn't alone with that thought. Ah well. Yay for idling.

Hehe, I'll do that. I played a stealth character and already robbed all the stores. Might as well go berserk in this playthrough

Also for people like me who play Mass Effect on the 360 and are planning to get Amalur on PC (sometime). The items you get for owning Mass Effect 3 only cross over if you buy the game on the same platform. So I won't be getting my N7 armor on the PC version

Sorry if this has been asked before but.. I can download the demo via Steam. Does this mean that when ME3 comes out, we'll be able to link it to Steam? Because how would you get the content otherwise? Or do you get a code when you complete it?
