Same, Idk what to do, I got her to play Mass Effect and she like the character creator, then got bored after 2 hrs and I couldnt convince her to keep playing. 

Ah well, probably better that way so we dont fight over the xbox!

Hey, I was wondering does the xbox 360 version of the demo automatically connect to EA servers? Would that mean that the items for Mass Effect 3 are already saved for me when M3 comes out? srry if this question has been answered.

Mine did, I think you may have to accept the 38 studio's request to gather gameplay data at the beginning though.

I haven't really the time to read through 80+ pages, but has anyone already mentioned that the Chakram Launcher sounds like it may have been inspired by the "shuriken catapult rifles" from WH40K? In fact, the original weapons, as used by the Eldar, also used a single "rod" of 'material' that the internal mechanisms of the weapon 'sliced' razor-thin discs from, not unlike the ammo "blocks" used in ME's small arms. On the other hand, there was a similar couple of weapons in BattleTech: the needlegun and the flechette pistol (basically two calibers of the same mechanic). A mechanism inside the gun chewed up a block of plastic and spat out needles.

Comparison and development speculation aside, I'd like to be absolutely sure that if I'm buying the physical, disc-based versions of both games, I'll need to download the Amalur demo on Origin to get the crossover bonuses. Is that correct?

I'm very impressed with the game. The story didn't have the immediate pull that say Bioware's known for, but the combat and the world did, and that's supposed to be the point of the game I think. I also found the art style very refreshing, so many games go the dark grungey route, which isn't a bad thing, but when I'm used to it and something like KOA comes out, it's more noticeable and interesting. It's detailed, colorful, and the levels feel kinda otherworldly and alien, makes me think of FFX and Morrowind in that regard.

I guess I could see why hardcore RPG fans would hate it, but it turns out you can appreciate everything a lot more when you judge it on what it is, and not what it's not supposed to be. It was supposed to be an action game+RPG, not the second coming of Baldurs Gate.

In short, I will be getting it on release day.

Okay just finished the demo. I'm not a fan of only being able to jump when it suits the game. However that is a minor peeve. Outside of your typical demo bugs (terrain glitches, camera weirdness, etc) I enjoyed it. I didn't really get the reckoning mode(x?). I build up the purple bar and then I get an insta-kill that depending on how much I spam the mouse button that will reward me xp bonuses?

I think I'm going to order it because if all else sucks the combat looks fun to mess around with. I'm kind of a gameplay/build junkie, so that alone will probably get my moneys worth. The combat/leveling reminds me of Fable meets Dungeon Siege.

I've just finished the demo. I likestory idea of the game, but the overall graphic&dialogue etc design is a little bit too cartonish for me. Still, got the armor and the gun, demo deinstalled

The content is linked to your EA/BSN account not your Steam account so you don't have to worry about where you get Mass Effect 3.

Well, you'll only get the items on the PC version of Mass Effect 3.

But what wolf means is it doesn't matter whether its Steam or Origin. You'll still get your items as long as you play the PC version of Mass Effect 3.

Thanks both! I played the demo, and I had to log in with my EA account and everything went fine . I only have PC, so I'm okay with that .

I do have another question though.. I got the gear for installing, and it's listed in my game content page. But I also got the message that I the weapon, as I completed the demo. But it isn't showing up. Does it just take a while?

Having the same problem with getting the weapon to show up in the list. I do have the armor & i did escape the "castle" & talked with the drunk dude. Came aslong as talking to some half-naked rogue standing at the guy i was supposed to meet. Anyone have any clues? Anyone got the weapon in their list even?

I haven't finished the demo yet, but the armor showed up in my registered content right away. I'll finish the demo tonight and see if the gun shows up. My son won't be happy if I force him to play the demo, lol, and the gun doesn't show up. He's still ticked that I ordered the collector's edition of ME3 from Amazon and not Gamestop because of the exclusive N7 armor.

Played it twice and still not sure what build I like. I'm thinking shadowcaster, I got some Chakrams during the last 5 minutes and they're awesome.

Edit: Also my weapons and armour didn't show until today, give it some time.

played it finished it, was ok but not a must get on day 1 for me but I did put it on the list of games to get maby later this year.

Actually, they showed up last night. Hence why people are a little frustrated.

I have both of my items listed, but I feel for those who don't and have completed the demo at least once.
