Like the game don't love it but will be fun to play while I wait for something else like Diablo 3 and Mass Effect 3. Was able to get my items tonight without crashing. Also went and looked on the Reckoning forums to find out how they feel about Mods. They don't mind mods for the game but they aren't going to be releasing a modkit for it though So no adding things like houses to the game like Skyrim. Probably a ini we can edit around in but that's not going to be a whole lot we can do there.

Poke around in the Achemial traders house. In one of the rooms is I think a desk it has a Greater Healing Potion in it that you can steal. I stole it and nothing happened to me. Of course that was the only thing I stole so maybe they let you do it to introuduce you to stealing.

I had a 100% chance to steal it without getting caught, so its safe.

You know when you get to town and the Fae is down and you can talk to the guy about helping her?

Do that quest. Eventually you'll have to let the Fae know that she's hurt. For that you go to the House of Ballads.

In there, once you're done talking to the Fae who stopped you, you can go and talk to another one in there about doing another quest.

Do THAT quest, and eventually you'll fight a boss and have to grab something off of a dead body. The dead body has a unique pair of Faeblades on it to loot.

that sounds complicated @_@... lol but thanks for the info, i always get side tracked during that quest and run out of time but ill focus on it next time.

When I finally got my Faeblades and went back out into the World, I had just under 20 minutes left to play.

it sounds like one of the longest quest chains in the demo lol. was it fun at least?

Actually, you don't have to do the hurt Fae quest. When you reach the first town, go straight to the House of Ballads. You can start the relevant quest. I tried going straight to the dungeon, but it will be locked until you start that quest.

That's going to cut SO much time off of the quest chain. If that's all you've got to do, it should give people a good half an hour with Faeblades.

I just got my Reckong Armor for Mass Effect 3, working on the chakram launcher now. Sweet!!!

I'll start my 5th playthrough. 2nd attempt at getting a Faeblade/Chakram class set up.

You can check the status of your reckoner armor and chakram launcher by going to your home profile, highlighting the "profile" option under "what's new" and selecting "your registered game content"

You don't have to do that first quest at all and can run directly to the Ballad area to start that quest.  If you haven't played around with Chakrams yet, I suggest that you do so.  For the points we are allowed, Chakrams are easily the most powerful weapons in the demo.  They also give a very God of War feeling thanks to the arcs that they do and how strong they are.  All that's missing is the actual chain graphic.  You can buy Chakrams at the Inn.

I don't really see the point.  The only advantage Faeblades have is that you can apply poison to them (apparently those "bladed" chakrams are not edged weapons....).  For raw damage, nothing beats what the Chakram can do and they have a massive area of effect as well.

Nothing is showing up, and I've beaten the demo seven times.

 It should be in Registered Game game content of your BSN profile.

It should be showing up on these forums, but that's if the EA servers were even working.  After installing Origin and my very first playthrough of the demo, all that ever appears is "Unable to connect to EA servers at this time".  Been doing it since this morning.

I had that problem at first till I found out my firewall was blocking KoA without telling me. If your internet is totally fine and you are getting a connection error in KoA, check your firewall.

Nope. I've not once had my demo crash on 360. On my fifth playthrough now, paused currently so I can get back to the forums, and have still never crashed.

seems like the lockpicking and dispelling tradeskills are rather useless, tried some hard ones with 0 skill and still pretty easy to pass the minigames.
