LP you said these things are random?

I tried a full warrior... it wasn't that bad. I like the daggers of a rogue though

The loot you get is random yes. So it can take a bit to get the right weapons... and in the demo it's possible not to get some of the weapons at all.  I went through the demo twice fully before I picked up a Hammer for the first time for example.

But They seem to skew a little bit towards where your points are spent...  Downside to that of course being that faeblades require 5 points in finesse to be spent before you can start spending points in faeblade mastery... Chakram have the same problem.

I can deal with daggers and bows till I acquire them.

As for the main game, I think I'm going to have to wait a while before I go after those Faeblades.

Damned Threshs were eating my face.

yes. Him and the duo of smaller ones behind him are kind of nasty unfortunately...  I only went full bore at that place once and I've already decided I'm not going to do that when it comes time to play the game for real. I'm gonna do the two other little quest dungeons from the first town before hand at the very least.  But in the demo I was able to basically get to level 4 or so. Unlocked the second Destiny for the finesse/magic line just before my time ran out.

And I don't come out of the well of souls quite as rich unfortunately... too much in my nature to break all the weapons and armour that I can down for parts and I made a couple of really nice weapons that way a time or two. As well as a couple of really nice pieces of armour.

I had a lot of fun though with stealth and faeblades or stealth and daggers. Only found a couple of things that I could sneak up on that I couldn't just outright kill. One of them was an annoying bandit archer.  it'll probably be a little more fun and viable without the 45 minute timer hanging over my head when the game releases though.  There were a couple spots where I could have stealthed behind enemies because of having dots in the non-combat skill that I just didn't bother because it would have taken to long to position myself so I jsut killed them.

I'll stealth kill in the main game.

I've done it a few times in the demo, but its just wasting time once the 45 minutes is under way.

I understand how you keep replaying the demo, I forced myself to deleted it despite wanting to replay it. I choose FF13-2 because I hadnt played the demo yet, but than again KoA didnt have a gamestop trade in coupon I couldve took advantage of either like FF13-2 did. When one must trade in to get new games choices must be made. As it is I dont have any games I wanna trade in now, already sacificed Dragon Age to ensure I got what i did and ME2 is a no brainer on keeping since I abosutely know ill be replaying that after my first run with ME3. Thats only because I am so hyped up for ME3 that ME2 just feels 'eh' to me right now, got one Sheploo and Femshep ready to go so I just feel set for ME3.

I too. I completed the demo one day ago and I'm still waiting for the Chakram Launcher. What gives, Bioware?

KoA will keep me occupied before I make my carry over save for Mass Effect 3.

Then, KoA won't see the light of day for a loooong time.

For Me. I'll bounce back and forth depending on my moods...Specially working retail... some days I just want to shoot people in the head... other days I want a story and get away from the so called real world for a while.  Both have their niche's and very different styles.

For Me Skyrim is the one I played until something better came along and then went into the closet to come out some day when I'm bored and decide it will be interesting again...  But even with just the demo I'm having more fun with Reckoning honestly.

Thing is, on top of KoA(out on Feb. 7th) I also have SSX coming out on the 28th.

SSX REAAAALLY isn't going to see the light of day for a while.

The first time I completed the demo I got the Reckoner armor, but not the Chakram Launcher. Late today I started the demo again (skipping the Well of Souls section), activated the 45 min timer, then just idled around for 45 mins (if you take this route, make sure you check back at the 25min mark to close the warning window about you having only 20mins remaining).

Finished the demo, watched the movie, alt-tabbed into BSN to check my promotions screen, and the Chakram Launcher was there. :D THEN I closed and exited the demo.

So, it's possible if you got the Reckoner armor but NOT the Chakram, that the demo is somehow losing connection with Origin/your EA account before the upload is made. All I can recommend is run the demo in a windowed view so you can check that Origin is still connected, run through the demo as quickly as you can and hope for the best.

Haha seriously though after a 5th playthrough the game felt like they are trying to explain how the people in the MMO will not die.

The MMO is just one massive Well of Souls.

I was gonna say, I'm sure we're all alive in the real world. We can't choose our own fate.

OR CAN WE?

Yeah LPPrince, Chakrams do some heavy damage, and there 'fast'. And they hit a lot of targets. My recommendation for you, is if you really like Chakrams, use Daggers as your secondary. My main reason? Stealth kills. You can get a backstab damage boost with Faeblades but there not very 'stealthy'. There's no special animation for them depending on creatures its just double-cross strike and the corpse/live person goes FLYING across the room.

Daggers you get special sneak attack animation for EVERYTHING. And I mean everything, even big stuff like ogres and whatnot. So if you plan to go mostly Chakram as your main attack chain, daggers make the best secondary for stealthy kills when your not gonna go full out on stuff.

Least that's what I'd do, the Faeblades seem more of a straight up fighter-style for finessers. Lets you do backstabs but its a 1-shot on one guy then your in for a fight as everyone notices the dead guy flying. Maybe, anyways, could be wrong about that bit. I do, however, prefer the special stealth kill animations the daggers provide, there pretty sexy.

finally got the faeblades, first time i was like "OMG PURPLE!!" but after a while i feel that daggers are way better than them, faster, better hit detection, easier to execute critical hit and daggers' charge attack is alot cooler.

I think the character we play is actually a different soul in the body. Highly possible that we are actually a god in a mortal body.  I mean what other reason is there to not remembering stuff that seems like we should remember.  Just that fact that it hints we can be a soul of a god drew me in to wanting to find out, I mean that one chick at the end of the story part of the demo seemed to know our character before we died.

Yeah, I think if I'm going to utilize chakrams as I am, I'll go with daggers instead of Faeblades.

Plus, elemental magic should help wonders if I'm in a bind.
