I sure those are new? Because I think I've seen those before.

EDIT: Yeah thought so, their on the Bioware store. I doubt theirs really any DLC, (one) because the Bioware store doesnt mention that. But if theirs is, I'm going with appearance packs.

They're not newly announced, they simply have some more bling in the bag now.

Merchant opinions of consumer intelligence are getting lower and lower....:?

I didn't notice that at first, but your comment certainly made me laugh

Anyone notice how they're all ME2 characters? Are you sure these are recent and for ME3...? That doesn't make sense, you'd figure we'd get Shepard, Vega, Liara, and the other ME3 crew.

Interesting that they were able to work out a handoff to another company.

That's what I'm wondering as well. It says that they're updated and includes bonuses, but it's a little unclear if they're for ME3. Unless each character has a bonus that isn't exclusive to their respective in-game characters.

omfg, now we have to buy dolls? Can't I just buy the CE and preorder at gamestop? This IS getting ridiculous...

If they're all ME2 characters, and they're not really in the game, what's the point? Unless it's like LotSB style dlc which...would be absolutely horrible and BW would have shot themselves in the foot if those dolls carry that kind of exclusive DLC lol. So I doubt it's that.

Yeah. Series 2 comes out in 2014. ;) after the wait I endured for the first Series, I'm not so inclined to jump at this one.

Click on the figures for more details.

"MASS EFFECT FIGURES - SERIES 01, 02 - SETS, SINGLES
The Mass Effect figures are once again up for pre-order, with Big Fish
taking over where DC Direct left off. Both Series 01 and Series 02 are
available again, with the sets of four going for $67.99 each ($12 off
MSRP), and singles of all eight figures listed at $17.99 each. The
upcoming shipment will also include bonuses - each character includes
updated photos, character bio, storyline, and logo, and is packaged with
Mass Effect 3 branding. Each has a pack-in card and bonus downloadable
in-game content, which is exclusive and different for each character.
"

Okay...that's new to me. Can anyone clarify?

I talked to a guy that gave me a heads up last year before Bioware put the figures up in the store. He confirmed that this is what the distributors are advertising.

No. I cannot afford, nor do I want figurines. Hopefully this content is extremely minor.

Not gonna bother with this. I'd put money right now on it just being alternate appearance stuff, anyway.

Just so you guys no they can't legally advertise something then not put it in. It's called false advertisement.

I think it's VERY unlikely the action figures have DLC codes on it, doesn't make any sense.

@mydudgee: yes supposedly it is lol

@diddy true but if they do proceed to advertise under false pretense they will have a class action against them faster than you can say DLC

And this is the kind of promotion that doesn't benefit the consumer. Bioware, for christ's sake, stop ransoming off pieces of in-game content.

In-game content is too valuable to be dicking around like this.

He's calling a rep tomorrow to confirm, but this is basically what Diamond is saying.
