Ya'll can go on eBay and buy someone's code(s). Or wait for the figures to go on sale later on and buy them then for the codes and put your unwanted figure(s) on eBay. All I know is... I shall own TWO TALIS... TWO.... AH AH AH!

I still don't like it, but at least it's just for multiplayer.

So, has anyone come across anything that says what the DLC actually is and if it's the same for all of them or different for each on? Keeping my eye out for any up dates, thanks.
I have a sinking feeling that the DLC might be a random grab-bag of multiplayer stuff. Hopefully I'm wrong though.
It would be funny if buying the Legion figure was the only way to play as a Geth in multiplayer.

Funny. Like a firestorm of anger and hatred. Followed by shame and disappointment as we all buy one. Just like they knew we would.

My guess is that there is specific DLC associated with each figure, but since they want people to buy all 8 they are being vague about what each one might contain. I assume each of the things you "might" get are available in one or more of the 8 DLC packages, but they don't want you just picking your favorite piece of DLC and only buying that figure.
I'm mostly conscious of the "characters" that it supposedly unlocks for multiplayer. I think that would be pretty significant.

I hope all of this DLC can be purchased without buying these figures or going on eBay.
With the word "exclusive" being bandied about I'm starting to doubt there will be alternate ways to get these...
Darn you Bioware, why couldn't you have made this deal with McDonald's toys?! At least then we could get fat while getting the DLC!

I mean I am utterly lost and well kinda fed up at all these endless "exclusives" being thrown out.(I imagine this is EA's doing)
We got more than enough pre order exclusives, exclusives in the C.E(Collectors Edition), exclusives from certain stores, an exclusive from playing a demo(Kingdoms of Alumar: Reckoning), and now exclusives from action figures. x[
This really isnt cool for the consumer ok lol but what would really "grease the wheels" in our decision to buy more from you guys is some insight on what we're actually getting.
My questions are:
1: Is it truly "exclusive" to just the figures? Remember back in ME2, the "exclusive" DLC's could be obtained later through Dr Pepper codes and downloadable packs from Live/PSN. Those werent multi DLC's, but hopefully it's the same idea....right?
2: Exactly how many DLC pieces are there? There are 8 figures listed in Bioware Store so far so will that mean there will be 8 DLC's? Or will really have to buy more than $160 worth of action figures? Since the DLC's are "randomized" with the figures it'd be kinda nice to know how many there are(or even better, WHAT they are) so those who do decide to spend that much will have know if they have all of them.
3: Will these be available as long as the figures are available? Meaning even if its been a year from now and I bought an unopened figure will the code still work?
4: Will any of this information be announced before ME3 comes out?
I understand you Bioware members like to keep things above top secret, but is it really too much to ask for a little helpful advice to your customers? I dont mean to sound impatient or rude or anything but damn, we're gonna go broke getting all the content. :/

Sorry to those who are STILL waiting for DP codes, Dr Pepper/EA's little system is astronomically f-ed up, you have no idea. Me and Uncle Pepper are working the best we can to sort it all out.

You are a consumer, if you MUST have this DLC then just choose the ones that interest you. Blowing it up by saying $160 dollars just makes it worse than it really has to be.
I know I won't be buying any DLC outside of what is available from Pre-orders, Collectors, and Marketplace.

When I said $160 though I wasnt blowing it up, each figure costs 20 bucks, 20 x 8 = 160. You can save $10 by getting the two 4-packs, buts its still alot. =/

Perhaps you can get a discount on Ebay from people selling the codes later on.

But my problem isnt really with the figures and so much the price on its own but the lack of info. All we know is; "They are slightly randomized during the registration and *could* include new weapons, new character, weapon mods, etc"
We dont know how many there are, or what they are, they're "slightly randomized", and there isnt even a certainty of getting one with a figure! This would make collecting "all" of them be pretty difficult.
If it comes down to Ebay I probably wont bother. They will just sell the sealed boxed figures at 5 times the original price. xP
