So i was one of those having problems with the DLC in Europe like everyone else. From what i've seen it is now fixed, but, it appears that not for me, but not for the reasons i thought. So aparently since i imported the American Version to my country in Europe and used the codes on my european account i won't be able to get my DLC anymore, is that right? And another thing, if i wish to go on my American Psn account and purchase DLC there, will it be on my PS3 hardrive and allow me to play it on my european account? I would really apreciate any help given on this.

Much obliged, Zaroc

pretty much the same problem here, i just bought my DAO collector`s edition last week in a trip to Hong Kong, and now in Europe i found that i can get the 3 downloadable items. If I try to put the codes for the Shale and blood armor i get the wrong code message. I`ve tried with a HK account but no luck. Is there a way to make it work or are we doomed? :(

Zaroc, it would be worth trying a US account. My Resident Evil 5 is the US CE, so i was unable to obtain the versus mode DLC, however, with a US account and a US PSN funds card, i was easily able to obtain it.

Unfortunately, the region specific DLC content is not something that is under our control as it's the way Sony has designed their system to work. I'm not an expert of the system so I could be a bit off, but I believe the setup is as follows. The NTSC/BLUS build of the game is for North America (And I believe Asia. Not sure about Japan) and has a specific DLC package. The PAL/BLES builds of the game are for Australia/Europe and they use a different DLC package.

The PS3 codes are universal and will work once no matter which PSN store you connect to. If you imported your game, you need to make sure you're connecting to the proper PSN store for your disk when you enter your codes to download your content or it'll entitle you to the wrong package.

If you redeemed your codes for the wrong DLC version you can try contacting customer support to see if they can help. http://help.dragonage.com

There's little we can do on this on the developer side as it's based on the way the PSN store works. I believe this is how DLC is handed with regards to regions for all Playstation games.

There's a solution. Just writing to tell you I fixed this problem! You have to create a North American PSN Account, preferably under a different User in your PS3 since different accounts in the same user create conflicts with online games. Keep in mind having an account from a region that's not yours is against Sony's policy. Just don't rub it in their faces and you should have no problem.

Once I did this, I created a new EA account and associated it inside the game with the newly created North American PSN account. Then I went to Live Chat with the support and asked them to fix my problem. Don't send emails, I've sent several during the course of last week and have yet to seen an answer. Live Chat is the good choice here, since you'll be talking with a living person within 25 minutes for as long as it takes to solve your problem.

You might need to be persistent on the subject because the live chat technician might not understand your problem at first. I had to redirect him to a forum thread where a member of the Bioware team had posted regarding the problem (that would be Jason Leong, thank you Mr. Leong) to prevent him from upscaling the whole thing.

Eventually he just activated the codes on my other account (the EA account linked with the North American store account) as I asked and I was able to download the content easily. Good luck. ;)

I also did live chat but i asked that he linked the content to my european account and I can't see it. He told me to wait for an hour so that the link "registers" so i did but no luck. And I am trying to accsess live chat again and I can't. It doesn't give me the option for live chat. Only for ask a question... Any suggestions?

PTav after downloading from the north american account where you able to access the dlc in your european Account?

enstikto, yes. Since the DLCs install to the game, it doesn't matter what account your are logged in to play because the content is already there. I could even create another ps3 user, entirely different accounts, and go play the game. The installed content would still be there because it was installed. The only way for it to go away now is to delete the game install file.

Zaroctheanus: Try to go to the support page, pick the options: Playstation 3 for the system, Dragon Age: Origins for the game, Dragon Age: Origins for the game version, Technical for the Issue, and then Download in the right. It should appear the option to either email or live chat. Once you click you will be put in wait. The waiting time depends on how many people are attempting to do the same. I've wait to wait 25 minutes the first time and less than 1 minute the second. It's relative, so pay attention. :)
