My names is hidden185 as some of you may already know.
I recently joined BSN looking for help support for Mass Effect 2 after I recently purchased, and have been trying to exhange my knoweledge of science for people help with computers/explaining stuff in the game.
Recently I been looking to into pre-ordering Mass Effect 3 for the PC; however, the problem comes down to price vs. knowning the system requirements. Even though I have an Intel I5 Core Processor with 8 GB of Ram, I had to buy the custum designed Intel HD Graphics 3000. Unfortunetely, it seems that when I looked I could not find the Intel Chipset that where suggested for Mass Effect 1 & 2 but only system to report the NVIDA and ATR HD chipsets.
Ok I been debating about asking this in the Mass Effect 3 forums. However, based on how moderators detailed with this thread: http://social.biowar...3/index/7555109 I am heistant to do so. In fact, because moderator's have not even rvsped that they got any three of pms, I am honestly uncertain to even think that devs might read this an include Intel chipsets models in the system requirements.
So assuming the worse case senario, lets say Bioware creates a new game but they do not report any of the chips sets from companies that your graphics card is from. How are you supposed to compare graphics cards across companies and models? How do you even going about figuring out if you meet the system requirements beyond simple assumption the sames listed requirement don't even list a similar model (ie. not model number but the actual first three letters of the chipset name)?
