Quarians Faces

This time through the game, I decide to have a romantic involvement with Tali Zorah vas Normandy. I've got to say it tugged at my heart strings a little with how much she was willing to do, just to show Shepard her face.
In the scene before The Suicide Mission, your romantic interest comes up to your quarters, and you engage in Intercourse. In the Dialog for Tali leading up to this point, she talks about how she wants to show me (Shepard) her face, and touch my skin.
So, she takes steps and does a little research and talks to Mordin, who makes a joke next time you go to see him.
In the end she finds Immunely Boosters and Herbs so she can show us her face.
BAM! I hate you BioWare. Only our Avatar gets to see her face as we view from behind her head. You damn teasers.
Anyone else think they might have Green Skin and look a little like Davey John's from Pirates of the Caribeen?

Tali and all Quarians will be attractive, or at the very least, normal looking humanoids. She's not going to have a tentacle face. Shepard doesn't seem the type to smile at a tentacle face. Only Grunt reads Fornax.
Who said she can't be attractive with a tentacle face?
Maybe, I should have been more specific, I think she'll have hair like Tenticles. Like, the Sexy Alien from Men in Black II.
That's how I picture them, just with Green skin.

in the me1 collectors edition bonus disk, there is an art section. there were many unused designs for other races who never made it in to the game, so i reckon quarians will look like one of them.
Happen to know where, I could find this Concept Art online?

In all honesty, I'm expecting something amazing. I don't want a plain, humanish looking face.
Asari, I just see a person, with blue skin, and combed back hair.

There's no way that Bioware would build all this suspense about her being unmasked, and leaving us disappointed.
I couldn't agree more. I couldn't stand it, if they all just looked like bold humans.

Count me in the "no more space humans please" boat. I'd f*cking hate if they looked like Space Elves. There is this fan made art of Tali's face that looks just like that. God, I hate it so much, and I hate how popular it became.
The reasonable thing would be to make Quarians to Turians what Asari are to Humans. I mean, they already share food chemistry, and there is Grunt's comment on them being "not so soft...", so by logic they should have a familiar appearance.

The wisest thing to do on their part would be not to reveal what Quarians look like. Ever. But seeing that Mass Effect is taking the Star Wars route, I'm sure we'll soon have a "expanded universe" comic, or short, or anything, in which we get a version of Quarian face that nobody is happy with <_<

Agreed, I don't want no more stupid "Space Human's" I hate it. The Elcor, interest me, 'cause they're an intelligent life, without being arsewipes and looking like Humans, Two Leg's, Two Arm's... So on and so forth.
They can't exactly pick up a gun and shoot each other, but I've seen many smoking a cigar. What more could you want.
Quarains. I really want to see their faces, weither it's a let down or not... Now, that I did the romance for Tali. I hate the supense.

All in all I hope its revealed in ME3, I think it should be part of the Quarian/Geth plot line and not necessarily a continuation of Tali's Romance though I also hope that's part of it. Guess you could look at that as a double-reveal. Seeing a bunch of Quarians remove there mask on there planet would be nice, and seeing Tali's face and the 'end' of the romance would give that pay off they failed to deliver on in ME2.

I don't really have the hate for humanoid looking Aliens. I get why some folks do, but generally speaking I dislike being teased with no pay off. The Tali unmasking was a tease with no pay off. I also don't hold any stock in the whole 'mystery' aspect of Quarians or tali and not seeing there faces. I think its kind of a insult to state that as why there interesting, or why shes interesting.

Agreed. Apart from the Humanoid looking Aliens. I hate them, it's just not unique, and nothing new in my opinion.

Overall I think their faces must fulfill human standards for "attractive looking" - Shepard didn't look disgusted while making out with Tali. Unless Shepard can have a romance with an Elcor, a Hanar or a Krogan, I'd say Tali is beautiful in human standards and Shepard has no bad taste.

Actually everything we know about Quarians suggest they look closer to humans than Turians. Even her face place holder is very close to human. Here from the mass effect wiki:Nissun wrote...

"Quarians have an endoskeleton, lips, teeth, and two eyes with eyelids
and tear ducts; they also have three thick fingers on both hands which
include a thumb and an index finger, as well as three toes on each foot.
Their lower legs are bowed backwards significantly, compared to asari
or humans. Aside from hands and legs, their general body shape and
sexual dimorphism is similar to humans. Their ears or ear analogues
differ in a noticeable fashion from those of humans, with references
made to "what [passes] for the quarian version of an ear".
That Dextro DNA thing don't mean anything regarding the looks. Look at the Salarians who can eat human food or look at the biodiversity on Earth. They'll probably look something like this.

This image was chosen by Bioware as one of the winners of a fanart competition in SDCC. If they chose that, I think (just a guess) Tali wont be that different from what we see here.
And even in the codex of ME1, it was already stated that Quarians were similar to humans.
