Me, I'm a Talimancer and I approve of keeping Quarian faces hidden. How often do we fans get to create our own 'alien canon'? With that said, I love this version:

I guarantee you, no matter what Tali looks like, there'll by far more angry fans than pleased fans. A large part of her popularity is people can picture her looking like however they want. If Bioware reveals her canon appearance, suddenly all of that will be ruined. You greatly underestimate how appealing these "fill-in-the-blank yourselves" characters are. For example, DC Comics has attempted to give The Joker a canon origin before, but none of them have ever stuck or been accepted by fans because his lacking any origin is more fitting for his chaotic nature. Giving Tali a face would be one of the biggest mistakes Bioware could possibly make.

This whole discussion reminds me of when Star Wars fans kept asking Lucas how the Force works, and then he gave us that whole "Midichlorian" nonsense. SW fans overwhelmingly reject that now, and prefer to view the Force as a purely mystical concept, even though they had asked Lucas for an explanation in the first place.
So, if Bioware does reveal Tali's face, and it's as well received as "Midichlorians" were, you Talimancers who asked for this will have no one to blame but yourselves.
