Would it really be too much to ask to seek a balance between alien and traditional beauty. Something human esque perhaps? While still remaining distinct.Big fan of the drell design in that regard. Hell, Id love predator mandables...not sure why.

I think it does, at least their facial features are not 100% the same as humans and asari in that piece of art.

I'm not really picky when it comes to quarian designs. I'm fine with almost anything, as long as it's NOT attractive-night-elf-in-space.

Again, this is why I'm against them showing their faces. Then everybody wins as wel can just imagine what we prefer.

And the only difference between the Asari and the image you posted was their tenticles were longer and that would give us 3 races with tentacles on the backs of their heads.

Actually everything we know about Quarians suggest they look closer to humans than Turians. Even her face place holder is very close to human. Here from the mass effect wiki:
"Quarians have an endoskeleton, lips, teeth, and two eyes with eyelids
and tear ducts; they also have three thick fingers on both hands which
include a thumb and an index finger, as well as three toes on each foot.
Their lower legs are bowed backwards significantly, compared to asari
or humans. Aside from hands and legs, their general body shape and
sexual dimorphism is similar to humans. Their ears or ear analogues
differ in a noticeable fashion from those of humans, with references
made to "what [passes] for the quarian version of an ear".


That Dextro DNA thing don't mean anything regarding the looks. Look at the Salarians who can eat human food or look at the biodiversity on Earth. They'll probably look something like this.

And lol. No the image I posted was completely different from whatt he asari look like. This looks NOTHING like the asari.

The asari have perfect human faces. That image I posted from the quarians don't have perfect human faces. They have different eyes and different noses.

The image would be even better if it wasn't purple. I think the quarians aren't purple. Just because their helmets are purple doesn't mean they are purple too. It's not like our suits are the same color as our skins or anything.

I don't believe they're purple either. Some of them have pale faceplates as seen in Tali's Loyalty mission.

However you can get clear images of Tali looking pretty human in her face. Her eyes and nose are the same as a human's as seen through all Quarian Visors.

@Luc0s Agree. They should look alien yet beautiful. I mean a voice like Tali's deserves a beautiful face.

One of the few ones I actually like. I dunno why you guys are putting up a stink about her looking human, it's already been said in the book that they're similar in appearance.  Does anyone have the exact quote? It's been a while.
