One of the few ones I actually like. I dunno why you guys are putting up a stink about her looking human, it's already been said in the book that they're similar in appearance.  Does anyone have the exact quote? It's been a while.

^ There's nothing stating Quarians don't have hair. Does it really make any kind of sense at all that Humans are the only species with hair? I don't think so.

*looks again* Ahh, I didn't realise there were scales. The shape is still rather Kasumi-ish though.

In the books, yeah. Somehow, in the games they look completely bald.

Makes me wonder what Batarians with hair look like then, picture anyone?

True enough. Methinks she looks more asian than Kasumi which is odd to say yet true of the game.

Tali and all Quarians will be attractive, or at the very least, normal looking humanoids. She's not going to have a tentacle face. Shepard doesn't seem the type to smile at a tentacle face. Only Grunt reads Fornax.

Edit: In all seriousness, the quarian race would most definitely not have hair as their envirosuits don't allow the passage of sunlight or proper flow of air for sustainable hair growth. They would also most likely have a pale skin tone due to lack of sunlight exposure. (speaking out of medical prognosis)

No, not by definition. Apperance does not make a Mary Sue... or should I say ,ti mgiht make a small aprt of a MAry Sue.


Note, that while I like elves, and I'm normally not against space elves - it's always in context with the universe. Somewhere space elves might work. Some places they jsut don't. This is one such place.

Quarians should be alien.

What's wrong with looking human? I could say that having more human-looking Quarians makes them that more tragic. It would be a great twist too.

Hey, someone else who understands my points from earlier in the thread! I agree with you and so does Bioware.

Let me rephrase to make it clearer. I like the idea of the quarians being dextro human analoges. Thats why I said that they could look like a mix between Grey aliens and human or "grey aliens light". You know, a litte longer necks, a little bigger "alien" eyes, somewhat exotic smaller ears, pale complexon somewhat different skull shape. If they have a hair analoge I prefer it is significatly different then that of humans, like much thicker fibres or something.

A lot of people share this view point, I think.

If it's a choice of having Tali look very alien-ish, therefore, hideously unattractive; or having her conform to a humanoid look in order to make her appealing, I'll go with the latter.

I'm all for crazy looking cool aliens, just not when I'm romancing one.

This is wrong on multiple levels. The first being that you assume (Alien=Unnattractive)
