The events of ME3 were a simulation for Shepard to prepare for the real Reaper attack.

You open the door of the shower and Saren is inside, still alive. Jim Hendrix' "All Along the Watchtower" plays in the background. You fall the ground and see Wrex lounging on the couch, wearing a smoking jacket and talking backwards English; Tali is playing Atari 2600 "ET: The Extra-Terrestrial" on a Apple II monitor. You lie on your back and a reflection of the Normandy can be seen flying overhead. You close your eyes and die. The End.

The worst ending would be Shepard returning to earth with every species and the reapers prepare for a counter attack. shepard looks out of the Normandy windows right before to screen goes black.

Just make sure the self-sacrifice isn't cliche then.

For paragon Shepard s/he dies while standing on a pile of husk bodies while naked and wielding a chainsaw. If female, she's covered in syrup. If man, he's badly sunburned. The final word is the named of his/her LI being shouted toward the heavens.

For renegade Shepard s/he and a naked TIM embrace on the pile of husks, their hands clasped tightly around a live grenade.

A whisper, "You had me at 'Hello!'"

KABOOM.

Okay well the worst ending I can imagine is Sheppard and his team on harbringer and they are all dying Sheppard is coughing up blood and The Reapers are talking on and on about how futile it all was and screen goes black and credits start to roll......Then Conrad Verner flies through a random window in harbringer does a barrel roll pulls out two handguns and starts randomly shooting hitting reaper main core causing a chain reaction overload to all reapers he then grabs your romance Jumps on Grunt and Rides him out the window leaving Sheppard to die

The reapers are actually susceptible to diseases, cause theres no diseases in dark space so their immune systems are screwed. To stop them Shepard secretly fills a Quarian ship with bird flu, then spends the rest of the game chucking sick Quarians at the reapers to infect them. However, it so happens that Bird flu mutates, and turns into Reaper Flu, which infects everyone, promptly killing them.

Reapers all get Blue Screen of Death, and fall over.

End game.

Just as The Reapers are about to be defeated the computer from Portal hacks into them and starts talking about cake. Confused, Shepard lets down his guard long enough for them to put a laser through his chest. He dies, slowly; before he dies, he sees the Protagonist from Portal shows up and saves the day. Post Credits, the Portal Protagonist finally gets their cake.


Actually that would be pretty good....

Turns out all of Shepard's squad mates are brainwashed by the Reapers all along. They betray Shep. Shep kicks their asses with the Guile theme playing in the background. Then Shep goes for the big baddie(s) using only his/her fist. Despite of his/her best efforts, they still manage to fend him/her off. Just when Shep is about to die, a man steps in.

The man is none other than the Grim Reapers' Grim Reaper, the god to all gods, the very center of the entire Universe - Chuck Norris. The big baddies shook. They all commit suicide upon the sighting of Chuck Norris because they fear Norris more than death itself.

Norris saves the galaxy.

Worst ending would actually be in the future, much anticipated, Mass Effect 4. Shepard teams up with his surprise douche bag kid as they search for an ancient artifact that turns out to be a crystal skull of a space alien from another dimension. And when put on the rest of its body thanks the person reviving him by killing her as Shepard and his team narrowly escape a wormhole vortex in the middle of a jungle.

 Shepard becomes a martyr and sacrificies him/herself in a Jesus like fashion. Everybody lives happily ever after.

Oh man I was thinking of something like Family Guy.
where the entire series was just a cutaway gag on an episode.

The lulz would far outweigh the outrage.

Simply amazing.

This would be freaking epic I'd pay to see it.

It took much longer than I thought it would to fit that many ME characters to Family Guy characters.

But the idea of Adam West saying "Ah yes, 'Reapers'" was strong motivation!

Plus I like the idea of Seth Green voicing a character playing a character voiced by Seth Green.
