I've decided to try Shale on this playthrough, but after recruiting him I noticed that his armor rating is off. He's wearing the default 9.00 armor crystal, but the character screen only shows 4 armor points. 2 other 9.00 crystals give the same result. Stoneheart increases that to a measly 7...
I think I remember reading somewhere that the unofficial dexterity hotfix may mess Shale up. If that is the reason, how do I completely remove this hotfix? Deleting the files in the override folder changed nothing. Reloading a previous save and re-recruiting Shale didn't help. Do i need to start a new game? Or do the files get copied somewhere by the game itself and are still there?

I dont think there is anything you can do. Shale and all of my characters across every playthrough is now jacked because of the hotfix.

It is not a small shale problem, it is a huge one.

Does removing the hotfix at least not screw a game that's started afterwards? Or am I going to need to reinstall the game?

the dex fix did not screw up my older saves, how ever any new games i played with the hot fix active resulted in shale beeing messed up, so i sudjest u just start a new game without the fix.

No, it should...the problem is the game calculating her stats when you first meet her.

Had to put her in 'Support Mode' due to this problem but it turns out its a pretty fine option after all.
