This easily reproducible bug is driving me nuts.

The problem is with the icons in the upper left corner of the combat hud.

The ammo icon no longer turns red when that ammo is selected on my weapon, and the unity icon no longer turns red when all squad members are at full health.

I've been able to reproduce this bug down to a tee. Whenever I use Advanced Training or Retraining to change squad point allocation, it happens; Every time. I can't seem to find a way to fix it.

All save files made after the change are affected, but, if I load a save made before I used Advanced Training or Retraining, the icons are working properly.

1: I have the downloaded version of ME2, from Steam
 exe version 1.2.1604

2: Dual core 2.8GHz, 3GB of RAM
Nvida GeForce 9600M GT 512 MB of VRAM Driver Version 285.62
IDT High Definition Adio CODEC
Driver version 6.10.6209.0
Windows Vista Home Premium 32 bit
Direct X 10

I didn't think it mattered, because I'm pretty damn sure it's unrelated to computer specs, but if you insist.

You are using a recent driver. Geforce drivers newer than 258 something are incompatible with both ME games. Without asking for driver data, how could I have helped?

Oh, great... Fiddling with older drivers...

Complain to nVIDIA. ME-2 hasn't changed since patch 1.02, but the nVIDIA drivers have.

gorath...there arent any problems with new drivers....
ffs i have the newest nvidia beta drivers w7 sp1 64 bit and both me1 and me2 works perfectly
maniac try rescanning ur game and saving the scan

 I have the same problem as this guy. My information:


1. ME2 DVD copy V1.02
2. System:
Processor: Intel® Core™ i5 CPU 750 (2.6 GHZ)
4 GB RAM
AMD Radeon HD 6850 1 GB ( driver version 11.12)
Real Tek High Definiton Audo (driver version 6.0.1.5969)
Windows 7 home premium (SP 1)

Running the game, launcher and config exe's in XP compatibility mode and as admin?

I tried that. It didn't work.

I also tried reinstalling the game and going back to earlier videocard drivers. All to no effect.
