I am replaying NwN2 with a Lawful Evil Blackguard, joining the watch, and probably again with Chaotic Good Rogue/Skullclan Hunter (Kaedrin's Pack), joining the thieves.
Unorthodox playthroughs I know.

For the evil playthrough, I am taking Neeshka, Zhjaeve and Ammon Jerro.
But I can't decide if I should take the Lawful but slighly Goodish Sand or the Chaotic, but more fitting to an evil team, Qara.
Bishop is out because Ammon Jerro is filling the "archer" role.
Who would a Lawful Evil tyrant-type choose? Will Sand agree with my evil ways and will Qara follow my orders and be loyal?

About the good team, I am taking Casavir, Elanee and probably Grobnar with the Construct or Bishop/Monk Khelgar. Bishop is an odd choice for a good team but his dialogue with Casavir and my female Rogue might be worth it.

What is your opinion guys for both teams? I am interested in the role-playing aspect more than the power-gaming one, as you have probably noticed.

In many ways, the lawful/chaotic part of a PCs alignment can determine their behaviour more than the good/evil part. I'm guessing any lawful character (good or evil) would avoid chaotic companions. Lawful evil characters in particular strike me as uber control freaks. I imagine they'd put up with a lawful good companion moreso than someone chaotic neutral (or even chaotic evil).

I think Qara would wind up a lawful evil person to breaking point.

A lawful evil person might respect, even though they disagree with, the views of a lawful good person. Question is, how would sand deal with it? He might despise what you stand for as a blackguard but it is your specific actions that would drive him away if he feels the overall path is towards a good objective.

Who cares about what they think? You're the boss, and they're just pawns!

If that answer is not enough (should be)... Qara may work as long as your way to solve a problem is to fireball it. If not, probably Sand.

Also, keep in mind that, in the OC, LE alignment is one of, if not the hardest to maintain. The OC has a tendency to move your alignment to the extremes, considering most evil actions also chaotic, even if it shouldn't be like that. Of course, you can still RP your character as originally intended, regardless of what the character sheet says due to the broken OC alignment mechanics.

Indeed, how could I forget that?;) They are just tools, either they obey me or they die (Elanee). And the more obedient, the better.

Any ideas about the Chaotic Good playthrough?
Casavir, Elanee and most likely Qara are in. And I believe the max party number is five with a guest on occasion, so that leaves us:
the goofy but very supportive Bard Grobnar
the archery Bishop (that I heard has some interesting dialogue with Casavir and a female PC)
and, since I'll have Casavir to tank, Monk Khelgar.
Construct is out since it serves the same purpose as Casavir and has no dialogue.

What are your thoughts on those NPCs? Who is the most interesting and most worthy for fifth member?

for a fifth member? I would say either zhajeve with all her cryptic talk if your into that kinda stuff or sand as he makes some intresting sarcastic remark's, Also, if you have him memorize some good party buff spells, with grobnar singing his inspiration's, and casavir casting his buff's you'll be nigh unstoppable. For lawful evil party i would suggest Bishop (no suprise there). Unlike Qara who's entirely self-obssessed and more than a little crazy in my opinion, (Hey, sorceror's one of my favorite classes and you don't see me proclaiming i'm some mighty lord of magic), Bishops analytic, yet sarcastic and ruthless nature go hand in hand with lawful evil. Also bring khelgar along (non-monk) as you can then start a couple fight's and still gain some influence, neeshka, as her greedy nature also goes hand in hand with lawful evil and either grobnar for inspirations or sand, as he's rather unscruplous in nature, unless it's really evil.

I hate the alignment issues cause I tend to play NE most the time. What is good for the party tends to be good for me so it's not realy an alignment shifting issue, but the game does so any way.  Frist playthrough it screwed up my Warlock char big time.
