 Hey-ho.

I notice my Bioware community page no longer keeps my CD keys for the various games I registered, including DA:O. I've contacted EA Support attempting in an attempt to retreive my CD keys, but have gotten no response yet.

Does anyone here possibly know how I could retreive my CD keys?

Was a bit of a shock to find that my keys were lost. Was the main reason I registered the games in the first place.

Any help or direction would be much appreciated :)

The old forum is gone, and the keys with it.

Ah. So that means a zero chance of ever getting those CD keys back?

havent you got the disks cus in the box you will find the cd key or if its a digital version there should be a link when you right click the game to see the cd key depending on if its a steam version or origin the place to see the cd might be different

tbh with you i dont rly trust digital versions not to lose anything so while i got the steam versions of mass effect 1 and 2 ive recently bought the disk versions as well just in case so i got 2 lots and if steam ever lose my games or whatever i got the disk versions to play again

Alas, no. I don't have the disks on me at the moment. They're in storage.

I didn't think this would be an issue, due to me having registered them... seems I might have been mistaken.

Let's put it this way: the odds are very poor.  When the security opening was exploited and the old forums were taken down, some of the Bethesda people answered that they hoped to eventually have the Legacy Forums running again.  It was never quite a promise, and over all the time since, responses from them dwindled down to none in the past three months that I have read.  Go here, and see what you find there:

hmm then i suggest getting them out of storage and keeping them at hand, and also make a note of the CD keys you got for each game someplace safe like on an encrypted file on your pc and then as an added measure email that file to yourself on an email only a few know about. Call me paranoid but thats what i did for all Game cd keys, My pc serial numbers etc just in case my pc blows up and i need to call hp for my recovery disks (i can access my email on my partners pc easily) and anything else i dont wanna lose. I even put a copy of the file on my External just in case i cant access my emails.

Actually EA can still access them.

I recently contacted them because I lost my product key for the Bring Down the Sky DLC. They gave me a key and later I discovered I had previously written down my old key which turns out was exactly the same as the one EA gave me.

However, this applies to registered products on the old site. I don't know if they store keys registered on this forum. After buying a new EA product I immediately register it to the Origin software (previously known as EA Download Manager). The name change unfortunately also came with new spyware features.

There's no more live chat for support for these titles. You have to fill out a form and they email an answer.

Edit: At least in my region (Benelux, Europe).
