I'm thinking DA3, and then a new RPG series? I don't know. No MMOs or FPS, please!

Also LucasArts. BioWare made the last old Republic game so I don't think it's too far-fetched to think they'd be the first choice to make KotOR III.D1100111101 wrote...

I think the same could be done for KotOR II if Bioware could get the property back from Obsidian.
Yes, Lucasarts does own the Star Wars license but who owns the rights to the games themselves?

Shepards story is going to end in ME3. They've said that.Drone223 wrote...
Anything will do as long as its not a MMO or the player character is another "Shepard" the Shepard story should end in ME3 I'd like to play a character that isn't related to Shepard, and has completely new character's

They won't do a Mass Effect MMO for a while because they'd be competing with themselves. One MMORPG focused on narrative is enough. While I think making it an action MMORPG with TPS combat would be great, I still don't think EA would take the risk.seirhart wrote...
I'm serious on this but I'd like to see a mass effect mmo or a mass effect animated tv show

However, I think the thing I want the most is some kind of Mass Effect Trilogy Edition that brings the two previous games into the Mass Effect 3 engine with some graphics and gameplay improvements.

Speaking of deep and personal, Jack has a beautiful tapestry of emotion as well as history that would be an interesting and dark rpg. Seeing how so few rpgs push the envelops in terms of "acceptable content," a dark story centered around Jack could make her game a real stand out when compared to anything else that has come before it.

Think ME3 with all its features, mixed with X3 (but obviously a little more arcadey and not as boring.
The game would work best if focused on exploration - I remember one poster on here had an idea where all the inactive mass relays suddenly turn on - the galaxy just becomes a whole lot bigger (apologies if I have misquoted but I can't find the original post - if you're reading this, please chip in and correct me!), and you play one of a choice of characters tasked with investigating the mystery - a huge potential.
Should have optional (drop in/drop out) multiplayer - up to a handful of player characters in the same story, with a clever system able to intertwine each individual's experience. I'm thinking similar to TOR in the way player's stories go, but NOT an mmo, which should allow for a lot more depth in each individual's experience. Of course it can be played singleplayer.
Each player character (limited selection of species/gender, and a fixed surname/title) should have a level of dialogue and interaction similar to how Shepard is now, with their own ships, squad selections, stories and so on; but they all link together, and players are able to meet up ingame and interact.
Tactical squad based TPS on planets/ships/stations(etc), and space sim in between. You could even have squad based space combat - when in command of your vessel of exploration you run into a combat situation, head down to the fighters docked in the hangar and fly out with one/two squadmates for some action!
Of course what I'm asking is extremely complicated, and I doubt would be possible for a few years, but I drool when thinking of this concept!
What I definitely don't want is an RTS or an MMO.
I wouldn't say no to an F/TPS similar to Republic Commando though!
