What "evil" things can lock you out of certain areas?

This time around, I am playing a character that is a crude, evil (censored) whenever possible, but not to the extent that major areas or side quests become inaccessible (trying to get traveler achievement, amongst other things). So, for example, I replayed the first part of Redcliffe after abandoning the town the first time only to discover that there were no chantry board quests or Blackstone Irregular posts available after dealing with Connor.

What about if I side with the Templars, do I still get to revisit the different floors of the tower later with a lockpick rogue? Or does the tower become boarded up/destroyed?

For the Redcliffe's Chanter's Board and Blackstone Irregular quests, quite a few of them can also be picked up from the board and representative in Denerim. Not sure if all of them will be available from Denerim or not, though.

As for the other evil decisions, there are quite a plenty of side quests that can be altered depending on your major decisions. As for major areas being inaccessible or boarded up, there isn't any. There are probably too many other decisions you can make that can alter the game and quest availability, depending on the extent and definition of "evil" you are doing. I mean, not picking up party companions or doing things that can make them leave your party or be hostile to you will of course prevent you from doing their companion quests if you had not done them. Taking the "evil" route in Urn of Sacred Ashes and "pragmatic" decision (as may notbe considered evil by some) may cause some of your companions to attack your party, and be killed in the process. Some others :

- Siding with werewolves in Brecilian Forest can bar you from Varathorn the merchant.
- Siding with templars would affect the other two future quests you can do later on during the game, a sidequest from Orzammar and a main quest from Redcliffe Castle. You are not barred from them however, it's just that siding with templars reduce possible alternative solutions you can pick for those two quests.
- You are given chances to kill some quest givers before they give you the side quests, such as Master Ignacio in Denerim. Of course if you kill them, the quests won't be available anymore.
- Deciding to kill Ser Cauthrien and not lose or surrender to them would not make the whoel "Captured" sidequest mission available to you

These are just a very small list of those influences, as I mentioned the game alterations on every single sidequests or NPC availability are too great to be listed one by one, probably it's better if you ask about each specific "evil decisions" in more detail.
