Crysis is made for higher-up computers, or at least it WAS. Plus laptops never run games as well as desktops do.

You just lost a sale. What kind of idiots makes these decisions that will turn most of your legit customers to pirating and result in millions of dollars less in sales?

I've had Origin running for 10 hours or so I've been at work and Origin didn't leave its root folder according to process monitor. Same results I had earlier when I let it run while I slept.

Again not factual, they could of made it come with Crysis 2 as the first game to bundle it with as opposed to titles like ME3 or BF3 if so chose at time. Now I am done on this specific subject with you.crimzontearz wrote...

This is good news. Though, could you also test it while actually using Origin? Playing games on it? If you have any games on Origin you can play of course. Or test it when you do other stuff on your computer.strive wrote...

I do wonder if they quietly updated it after the German scandal so it doesn't access anything but its own folder thus there won't be a repeat of teh German scandal which was in part on Origin accessing all the various folders.

This question has been evaded by the staff for a long time. It's either they do not know the answer for it, or they do not want to say anything further to lose potential sales.
The question was asked late Friday and it's now late Sunday at least wait for the work week to begin before making assumptions.IsaacShep wrote...about 2 days ago, Modified 1 day ago
To Chris Priestly
1) If we do not intend to use multiplayer, can we uninstall Origin after completing one time single authorization for the single player game?
2) Also, will I have to install Origin EVERY TIME I install Mass Effect 3, or after one time single authorization I will no longer have to install Origin ever again?
Yes, it's right.IsaacShep wrote...
Not sure if it's related but it was around November 1st when EA finally responded to German scandal and suppousedly changed EULA there. Perhaps they also quetly changed the way the program behaves? It was after all the process monitor reports/screenshots that saw Origin accessing literally everything on PCs.

I think those are hidden posts, unvisible to regular users. I often seem them in announcement threads, from Chris, Jessica. They're visible on "last posted", but when you enter the actual thread, you don't see any post. Unless "last posted" also means "last action performed in the thread", in this case it would register Chris activity even if he just edits threads/posts.Ryzaki wrote...
