Odd...I refreshed the main forum page and it looked like Priestly posted but I see no post now.
Bioware employee posts have to be screened over and approved of before they actually appear. Sometimes they'll appear pages behind like the post may show up randomly in the future on page 168 or something.
Pretty common for the suits to want to screen over employee responses to make sure they say nothing damaging.

I think those are hidden posts, unvisible to regular users. I often seem them in announcement threads, from Chris, Jessica. They're visible on "last posted", but when you enter the actual thread, you don't see any post. Unless "last posted" also means "last action performed in the thread", in this case it would register Chris activity even if he just edits threads/posts.Ryzaki wrote...

Ah.
Well if the devs are reading this.
PLZ TELL US IF YOU CAN INSTALL ORIGIN, INSTALL MASS EFFECT 3, AUTHENTICATE IT AND THEN UNINSTALL ORIGIN AND KEEP PLAYING ME3?
Yes I'm yelling. I want to know.
@Docjam : Oh.

I think Chris or a mod said somewhere that you need Origin installed on your pc, but you dont need it open to run Origin games.

Rather than resorting to insults, why not ask my to clarify something if you do not understand.
I would also point you to the bolded part in your own sentence.

But I don't want to have it on my PC D:
****. I was gonna pay for the CE on the first of Feb (I know late as hell but the little rinky dink store near my house ordered a copy for me because they know how I am about ME3 so I know it's on the shelf waiting for me to pay it off).
But with Origin I'm not sure 80+ dollars is worth it.

Have used Steam for years and also have Origin on for BF3. Had no problems at all. I have recently added all relevant games into Origin for easy access actually, greatly reduced the shortcuts on my desktop.
I just hope i dont need the DVD in the drive to play the game like i do with ME2 ( quick request for a patch which removes this

Actually, (please don't take offense to this), but the way you word your thoughts is pretty unusual. Back when we were exchanging words, most times your post made little sense. Or maybe I should say, you have your point there, but you make it unnecessarily long and into an entire paragraph.

I think he was at home not on shift or in the office when replied mid way through the thread for brief time.
I believe a moderator said he probably is not back at work till Monday so might answer question's then which makes sense to me. I think waiting one more day should be fine. Especially given still have nine weeks till release so one day to wait till he gets back in office is ok (imho).

I have talked this way for decades. I am English and do use English fine and dandy.
Granted I do generally type more than is needed but thats more just habit and is not really hard to understand but instead just longer than required.

You just put extra words where they're not needed and it's a bit confusing.

You just lost a sale. What kind of idiots makes these decisions that will turn most of your legit customers to pirating and result in millions of dollars less in sales?
won't lose millions and I don't think 'most' will turn to stealing over Origin either.
It's pretty safe to say they will at least lose 30% of their sales over this considering the hate for Origin (and for good reason). So yes they will lose millions. PC gamers are more than willing to pay for games if you make good products, not if you spit in their face by forcing origin DESPITE the strong opposition to it. Nothing wrong with having the game on Origin, as long as it's not a requirement. I forsee Bioware will blame piracy for poor sales while they're the ones who caused it.

Origin has horrible deals compared to Steam. You can find EA games for a fraction of the cost on Steam
I don't see Origin ever offering deals like Steam does. Again, I don't like Steam, but Steam offers so many cheap deals with games. And they have such a huge library. EA will never keep up.

This is good news. Though, could you also test it while actually using Origin? Playing games on it? If you have any games on Origin you can play of course. Or test it when you do other stuff on your computer.
Yeah I'll let it run while I play BF3 for a few hours.

I don't think Origin can have the flexibility of Steam. They're not allowed to undercut because they're the publisher. The type of deals you will see on Origin will be like buy Mass Effect 3 get Mass Effect 2 for 5$ or something (this is an example not an actual deal). They can't do % price cuts on the featured product as far as I understand.

He posted, "I will continue to work to get answers for you." one day ago and that was a Saturday; he got answers about our initial questions regarding Origin, at least give him a chance to get back to work.
Chris Priestly wrote...One Day Ago
As I said, I am reading the thread. I will be taking the questions asked and working to get answers for them. To those who are angry about this and will refuse to buy ME3 as a consequence, I am sorry you feel this way. Hopefully the information I can provide between now and launch, or post launch, will make you change your minds. For those who are still seeking information to make an informed decision, I will continue to work to get answers for you.

Now I wonder if Origin is required for KoA...
That may be true, because they own more than 38 studios.

It's not hard to understand it's just odd. Like you weren't taught English by native speakers.
Girls love the way I talk over the phone and microphone, especially Americans and Asian girls. Though that is more to do with my accent and tone more than words used but I believe how I talk is fine. I cannot really comment about if it's odd or not but I have never had a single problem or complaint about my English over here in the UK when speaking to others outside the internet to other English people.

You might telling me how many resources it used while you were playing as well? I hope I'm not being a bother. D:

Yeah yeah keep your pants on. Outside the internet? So it's probably just the way you type then. Just strikes me as odd and I'm not trying to be offensive honest.
At least you bother with punctuation.
@Incognito JC: wait...read that wrong 6GB. However on idle my comp usually uses around 2GB of RAM so I consider myself to only have 4GB.

Origin for me usually is between 50k and 75k memory for comparison Steam is around 25-50k usually. When I play BF3 Battlelog is the "meh" part. It requires my Firefox to be open and that usually takes nearly double the memory of Origin.
