I think developers are more towards the console route. (If that's what you want to believe) Because theirs not to many problems with consoles. Easy interface, Nothing to install, most of the time people will know if you messed with the game or console. And its a device specifically made for gaming.
Just some thoughts.

It's really just the last one, they don't have to optimize for different machine setups (RAGE on AMD cards etc.) and it gets easy because they learn all the ways to trick the system since consoles have such slow cycles. Compare the graphics of say Perfect Dark Zero to what Mass Effect 3 will be like on the xbox.

So, go back and take a look at the posts of mine that have been "edited" by the mods.
Anyone care to guess what they were discussing?
Why would EA care if you keep Origin from scanning your hard drive, unless the real reason they're so determined to get Origin onto hard drives is to be able to mine them for data?

Anyone care to guess what they were discussing? We're not even allowed to discuss the fact that they've been removing a certain subject from posts, locking threads that mention that subject, etc?
And it's not eyepatches or parrots that they're editing out. Just a common security tool.

If I end up banned, then there's your biggest clue yet that I've nailed it. The emperor has no clothes.

Your making feel like this is bigger then just privacy concerns. Conspiracy, Freemasons, Illuminati...

No, it's just that privacy and security really are that damn big of a deal.

To make sure that people understand just what they're giving in to if they go ahead and install Origin.
To make sure that people understand just what they're supporting if they give EA money for a game that requires Origin.
When you purchase a company's product, you are by default supporting everything that goes with that product, every decision that went into that product, every action by the company that has to do with that product.
And it's already been fixed.jreezy wrote...

You ought to spread yourself out equitably, Apple and Onstar need some of the killjoy treatment too.

I suppose it is good that we finally have our answer regarding Origin and ME3 and we can make an informed decision. So, what I want to ask, is if we can uninstall Origin after authenticating/registering the game and play normally.
If we can't I will have to go cancel my preorder so I hope to get an answer on this soon.
