So you are saying I shouldn't trust EA cause they are EA....... ya geat logic.
I believe EA's stance since it does make sense, and they have shown proof of it and there intentions that they would like to continue dealing with Valve.
Valve has said.......... nothing, and when you say nothing to defend your stance that normally implies that there is truth is what the other side, in this case EA, has stated.
I'm saying that EA is monopolistic in its attitudes to DLC. And that trusting a monopolistic company when it says "We'd like to sell our products other places" is a bit foolish (not that you are foolish, just it's not a very wise thing to do).
Also, Steam haven't replied because they don't tend to get involved in business arguments. Just like they don't tend to publicize sales figures. Though I do admire your logic that says "just because someone doesn't deny something, doesn't mean that it is right". <_<
So wait, EA shouldn't be allow to do whatever the hell they want with their own DLC's?
While Valve, in other hand, can be monopolistic and do whatever the hell they want with other business's stuff?
I smell Valve/Steam fanboyism here.
lol?
Show me one game from Valve that can't be bought anywhere else, either physically or digitally.
Then show me one other place that sells EA DLC.
EA are allowed to do what they want with their DLC. But
1) equating them with what Valve do isn't quite right
2) they are using monopolistic business practices when it comes to DLC
3) we have a right to complain about said business practices.
